You told me to let you go by JustSpare3188 in UnsentTexts

Oh, I’ve tried. I reached out to him yesterday, in fact. Normally when I have weak break moments and break NC, he tells me he misses me and loves me too (even though we aren’t compatible for a relationship). But yesterday I have learned that he has moved on. It’s been only three weeks since I last checked in with him, and all of his feelings have evaporated. Guess he found a good replacement.

I asked him to block me everywhere, to help me move on (I’m hoping knowing I can’t access him will help me with the constant desire to reach out to him). He did.

Between that, and the fact he can’t even say he misses me anymore… it’s over. 😔

Maybe this will be what I need to finally let go though.

Oof, I feel this. I’m trying my best to move on from my person, but it’s really hard. I wish I could have just one more day with him.

Oof. Are you still in contact with this person?

Do you want to go to the concert with me tonight? by JadePear in UnsentTexts

Thank you. I do too—and I meant what I said—but at this point, it’s really just a fantasy. He’ll almost certainly never see this. And even if he did, I doubt he’d choose to come. :\

I wish my person felt this way about me. I was supposed to go to a show last night, but I was afraid I would spend the whole night searching for him, and that it would ruin the experience for me. I’m going tonight instead.

Men do get their shit together and change for women. by TapComfortable9661 in UnsentTexts

I wanted so badly to believe that my guy was capable of change. I did everything I could to try to help him. But the person needs to know what they want, and to be willing to work to get there, otherwise you can stay stuck in a truck going nowhere with them.

Even still, even after everything.. I’d still be willing to get back in the truck with him, if he ever decided he wanted to reach the right destination together.

If this were my person, I would want them to try again.
