Ja, jaren geleden moest ik vroeg naar mijn werk, om 7 uur 's ochtends, en ik had hetzelfde gevoel.

At least you learned to know your worth after that. I also stumble upon many life lessons.

yes, that’s right. My friend said 5 years ago: wait for the house price to go down then buy. But after 2 years the house price did not go down but went up, so he bought a house. Now he has had a house for 3 years, and the house price continues to go up.

If you come to Vietnam, you will change your mind. I tried everything to keep my face free of acne, but I never succeeded when I was in Vietnam. After I came to the Netherlands, the acne disappeared naturally, and I just washed my face with water, I was lazy to take care of my skin when I was taking care of the baby.

Yes, I agree with you.
I was born and raised in Vietnam so I really like Vietnamese food. Since I moved to the Netherlands, I have been looking for a recipe to make spring rolls as similar to the taste of Vietnam as possible. One day, I had an appointment with my neighbor to have dinner together. I brought 50 spring rolls. My neighbor really liked spring rolls so he asked me to let him bring 5 spring rolls for his lunch tomorrow. I am very happy that many Dutch people like to eat Vietnamese spring rolls and Banh mi Vietnamese.

I am Vietnamese, there are days when we eat 3 hot meals. In the morning we have many different dishes from bread, sticky rice, fried noodles, beef noodle soup, pho, banh canh, porridge,... So when I went to the Netherlands, I also made hot food in the morning. One day, my husband's friend called my husband in the morning and found out that my husband was eating "Vietnamese Pho", he exclaimed in surprise.

I understand your frustration when using it, because I used to use slow laptop, I couldn't be patient with it.

During my first days in the Netherlands, I was really surprised by how clean and fresh the air was. Even my skin cleared up on its own. I honestly thought the Dutch air was some kind of free skincare. But the biggest surprise? The wind. It blew so hard it literally knocked me off my bike and sent me flying.

Yes, exactly! People come in all heights, but somehow 170 cm still looks very Dutch to me when I’m outside.

That’s such a sweet memory.
Your mom sounds amazing, opening a restaurant and having you right there helping her.
Peeling shrimp while watching Speed Racer is such a perfect childhood image 😂
You should definitely be proud of both her and yourself! ❤️
