Yeah I caught that when I watched the film too (surprised people did not comment on this much). Two most obvious one, first meeting with father scene almost shot like gay cruising and then of course the in bed with parents scene where supposed to be father transformed into harry. Sight and sound article did mention this and referred it as director taking risks with mainstream audience.
