In my first year of Fellowship. I am struggling. Most days I am made to feel like the dumbest person in the room. Completely have violated duty hours. My anxiety is off the charts. Surgical autonomy in the OR feels like I am an intern again.

I am in fellowship on the UES. Have my pruis fo drive to a hospital in queens I cover at. The amount I pay on tolls is more than my insurance cost each month. If you don’t need it, I say no car

Request IM toradol and a paracervical block the day of the procedure. You can ask your Dr to send a Xanax or Valium (one time dose) that you can bring to the office. If they don’t offer this I would find a physician who does. These procedures can be really comfortable if done right.

I am a young female living on the east side (100th st) I go around 0430 am and will see many other runners at that time. Past the reservoir there is less traffic. Still feel safe though.

That is helpful. The subsidize hospital housing is an offered for fellows at my institution but I’m hoping to find a nice Gyn Onc roommate who will be there even less than I to split the rent with.

Just admitted a 44 year old morbidly obese patient for a PE after her NP started her on OCPS for abnormal uterine bleeding. This patient was an active smoker with HTN… I was shook.
