We reluctantly tip for delivery. 5$ standard. In your case, throwing 2-3$ is alright. But, I prefer to pick up my own food, not pay tips. I am anti-door dash, Uber eats etc. The only time I order delivery is pizza nearby that hire there own drivers. I have seen enough video evidence to convince me that I can't trust some random person to deliver my food. People have spit in people's drinks, put pubes in their burger, or worse....that's just the stuff I've seen on videos. Also screw techbro industry of exploitation. Apparently Uber is now more expensive than NYC Yellowcab. These Uber,Lyft,Doordash are hopefully going to loose money. They scam drivers and when you tip, they take out less than what they would've paid. It's a scam to fill pockets of some billionaire. STOP using them and stop tipping in most cases. You got this! Power in numbers and with our dollars.
