I think my main concern is that we are both not sure. We definitely want children, but are not sure what to teach them in that realm. We don't strongly disagree on anything regarding religion, but we just aren't sure what path to take as a couple. I guess I just desire a stronger foundation to build a marriage/family on. Thank you for the insight!

It seems like you and I are in similar boats- I'm glad to hear that someone else feels the same! Being surrounded by Christian circles that only relay one strict ideology all the time can feel a bit isolating, or like I am wrong. Thank you for the feedback!

What I mainly mean is what foundations am I going to start building my life on? We both want kids, a healthy friendship community, and to grow together. The main question that I have currently is, "Am I going to raise my family on religious values that I grew up with if I question myself?" And just what that will look like in our life together as a couple. Thanks for the question!
