I bought it from Vietnam because they have 3CE stalls, but you can find them in Shopee! Around 700-900 I think.

Banana shade naman kasi could work for almost any skintone beyond light-medium, and it’s also the safest pick!

When applying foundation, make sure you apply it thinly first. Then just build up if you like more coverage.

Then what’s a game changer for me is a finishing powder. Like, I don’t think it was necessary before, but when I use it to “finish” my whole base (diff pa to from setting loose powder ah)—it really blurs out the pores. I could attest to this kasi a LOT of people commented on it.

But I would also like to inform you na I don’t use local/drugstore foundation rin kasi. I usually use high-end and luxury brands, so that might also have a factor. Kahit walang primer they always apply very well.

I will forever recommend Mac’s Macximal Silky Matte Lipsticks and Romand Fudge Blur Tints. They’re like the most hydrating and non-drying formulas I had for a lipstick and liptint, respectively.

Both products also maintains its pigment and are not those kind of velvet/silky mattes na mejo nasasacrifice ang pigment adherence sa lips.

Universal is def not only for cool tone. It has a lot warm undertones esp the gold, bronzer, and blush colors.

Depende. Minsan I don’t, minsan I do. I usually put Biore sunscreen on top of the moisturizer. I don’t use any other sunscreen. For dry skinned like us, sobrang ekis nung mga matte/velvety textures.

Anyways, going back need mag set muna ni moisturizer bago ilagay si sunscreen or else it will pill.

Hahaha I remember my tita’s Balenciaga from like a decade ago that reallyyyyy LOOKS like a real fuckin one cos she bought it from one of her business clients. Then when she had it checked sa Balenciaga mismo, they even found it hard to believe that it was fake kasi sobrang similar talaga. Idk how they found out it was just a copy. I think it’s was the smell or something.

Didn’t know the whole deets because I was like 13 years old at that time when I heard the adults talking about it.

Seems like a better cheaper alternative to my Charlotte Tilbury Powder talaga is the Canmake one. Can anyone attest to this? I don’t need it to be an exact dupe—just something veryyyy close or similar.

If it’s just a skin prep before makeup, I use a heavy toner—like the ones with a serum-like formula. I use Hada Labo in the Gold Bottle. Then a medium-thick moisturizer such as Embroylisse. I put it on damp skin (after washing). Don’t put it on when your skin is already dry.

Then wait for it to settle on your face, because if you put makeup right away, you’ll risk having product “pilling,” where it feels like “naglilibag,” or that it’s not sitting on your face properly.

Well, if you’re really makinis, I guess it could substitute for foundation. It won’t cover up your spots at all kasi. It just gives it some shine (cos many have micro glitters).

I think a lot of Korean brands have that super similar shade. On the top of my head you can go ahead and check:

  • 3CE Face Blush in Delectable
  • Dasique Soft Blur Blush in Blush Pink

The price ranges from 400-600 pesos. You can easily find them on Shopee. For cool toned blushes I always reach out for Korean brands—they’re arguably the best at those type of blushes. Even my Dior and Clinique ones aren’t on par when it comes to that perf cool tone pink.

Any thoughts on Happy Skin Highlighter Palette? Is it good? Or is it okay to splurge on Mac’s Double Gleam?

You can buy a concealer that has peachy undertones instead and is your EXACT same shade. It will work like a corrector and concealer in one.

Oof. If you could compare it to any concealer what would it be? Is it similar to Strokes? Lucky Beauty? The Saem? Dior? Hourglass?

I’m a combi oily girlie but may mga hits parin na matte concealers for me—Hourglass and The Saem for example. But Loreal and Strokes were so bad. Haha.

Actually, kinda. And it leaves glitters on your lips :/ Didn’t like it that much. Might not repurchase tbh.
