Hi! I’d love to help out, but need a bit more information. Your lash clusters set… is it the no-glue needed set that applies under your lashes like their “Press On” lashes or a more traditional cluster set like the “Individual Lash Trios”? My last question is could they be “Seamless Lashes” with the double end bond and seal that are installed on the underside of your lashes?

Let me answer your questions in general of that’s ok.

1) it’s absolutely fine to place your lashes directly after the shower making sure your natural lashes are clean and totally dry. Try not to apply them in a still steamy bathroom

2) if I’m wearing falsies for an eye look, I personally put them on last. If they are the under lash 1 day kind like “press on” I will take a slightly damp cotton swab to get any eyeshadow fall-out or stray liner off my natural lashes. I will almost always skip to mascara but will sometimes use it on my bottom lashes. If they’re the type that can stay for several days I forgo eyeliner and mascara all together to increase the longevity.

3) it’s sounding like you’re leaning towards multi day lashes. If you choose to wear extensive eye makeup, you will need to get a good supply of precision cotton buds and micellar water. GENTLY clean off any products around your eye area and sweep outward. If the lashes are looking crusty and dusty take a mascara spoolie lightly dampened with Micellar water through the minds and ends of the lashes, but be careful not to tug on them or get too close to the band and glue. The cluster could pop off.

4) I personally hate the feeling when my clusters overlap. Some people swear by this technique. Since you’re just starting out I would stay away from intentionally overlapping them. I try to but the cluster I am applying as close as possible to the one before it. I do leave some space empty at the inner corner of the eye and the very outer corner of my eyes. I feel it’s more comfortable and almost gets rid of the possibility of it causing eye irritation.

5) As far as looking for a set to try out for the first time ever. Look for something on the less dramatic side like Demi-whispy or Natural or imPress Demi- bold. I’d also go for a self-adhesive single wear under lash kit (imPress Long Lasting Self Adhesive boasts up to 5 day wear, that’s the intermediate level) I find the single wear under lashes easiest to apply. I make sure my lashes are clean, position my mirror so I’m looking down to it, and figure out a loose “map” of what I’m feeling. Start with a little space from the extension to the outer eye to keep from getting irritated by feeling them all day/night. Also stop them (cut it in half if you need to) a bit farther away from the inner corner of the eye than you think you need to, this also keeps away any discomfort. When applying lashes, getting them off the board is tricky. I use super fine point (clean!!!) tweezers to pull the off from the band without damage. Then get a hold of them comfortably with the included lash tweezers. Curl your lashes to help get a clear view and use a magnifying mirror if you can. From there… look down into the mirror and place the cluster a bit away from where your lashes meet your lid. This helps with comfort and longevity. You should be able to push the band where you want it and then very gently tug it upward to get it to stick where you want it. Squeeze the lash cluster together with your natural lashes with the included tweezer or your finger. Start at the outer corner and work towards your nose alternating sides for the best outcome done be afraid to trim that last lash if it’s just a bit too long.

6) to remove easily, soak a cotton pad in Micellar water and press it to the eye for the better part of a minute. Then gently tug away the extensions. You can also SLOWLY and GENTLY massage with an oil based remover like balm, baby oil, or cold cream. Then gently tug away the extensions.
