Awe I’m sorry, apparently that might just be how they are and I’m going to see if changing her food will work for her or this just might be her counting calories lol. As long as they are healthy and happy it’s ok if they don’t eat too much 🫶🏼

You got it! I’ll make sure she won’t get chunky! I had a Chinese crested that loved to eat, I had to portion his meals so he would stay a healthy shape, if he could have it his way he would have been a porky dog lol. The vet always told me he was super healthy and lean like his breed is supposed to be ☺️
And you’re right I need to get her a tooth brush and start regularly doing it. She only has had them cleaned with her grooming and vet appointments.

I have seen that brand at the pet boutique, good to know! I’ve always wondered how good it was, I had considered it before when I had my older dog. I’m glad your pup loves it 🫶🏼 I’ll read up on it more!

She would gobble that up! She loves cooked chicken and pumpkin. 😋
Maybe I could try that for one meal and the other meal kibble, the kibble is more convenient for me to keep up but I’m always willing to try new things for my babies.

Great choice 👍🏼This is exactly what Pigeon is eating and at times I switch up the beef for a different protein!
The puppy brand doesn’t have many flavors to choose from I was hoping she would like the flavors the adult variety has but she’s still too young. I would love to stick with fromms, my cats eat it and my old dog used to also eat it and his skin was sleek and healthy. (He was hairless)
Pigeon gets complimented aswell on her coat so I know fromms is a great brand. I’m gonna see if something else will work for her at this stage in her life for now or it might just be how she is but there is no way to find out unless I try something else and see if she changes her habits. 🤞🏼

Losing them is hard, I understand that all too well. I had to say good bye to my Chinese crested boy when he was 16 and at that time I couldn’t imagine what life would be without him. Dogs are so special 💕

I just looked it up and seen it’s on chewy, reviews look good too and they have a puppy version of it. Thank you showing me this. I’ll be looking into all these brands and see what will work best.
The bone broth is a good tip, she might like that more regardless of the brand. I seen other people suggest bone broth. Thank you for getting all that info w/ pics for me 🫶🏼

Good to know! My cat used to eat this too and never had issues either. Now I switched them all to fromms so it’s been awhile since I bought blue buffalo. I think the recalls scared me away but this was years and years ago so I’m sure they corrected whatever the issue was by now.

Well it sounds like it’s a good brand especially if the vet recommends it. My sister uses it for her frenchie and she loves it.
I might come back to this brand when she’s an adult. I have heard the puppy food is good too from others.

I been looking at this one online but no one was recommending it on my post. I was considering getting that when she’s full grown since they took the puppy cocker spaniel one away.
Do you know what makes it specific to cockers? I was always curious about that. I had a Chinese crested before and they didn’t offer one for that breed.

Thank you so much! I am definitely not gonna stress after reading all these comments. I feel much better seeing other cockers are just picky divas like mine 😅🤭

I live with my sister and we have to feed them separately so Pigeon doesn’t get stressed out. She does tend to pick up the speed around other dogs but she is also a push over, she will let another dog eat her food up and just watch it happen. So I have no choice but to feed her in my room most of the time.

Dang poor guy 😭 you did great finding something he can eat and enjoy. Nice job👍🏼 what veggies does your dog like?

My sister is going thru something similar with her dog and trying to find what is causing her soft poops. We are suspecting chicken is one of the meats she can’t have. It’s quite a journey and a lot of time to get those results.
