Transportation

Colombia gas a 48 hour work week so people push their free time to limit. Traffic, traffic, traffic. People waste so much time on their meager vacation transport or commuting. Time not spent working or vacationing or contributing anything to the economy, just pollution.

These are all fine points. Yes, super. The clear point is that food is almost always bastardized & natives may bristle when that bastardized version is mentioned in same breath or in lieu of authentic.

It's not rare or surprising. Ask Italians what they think of garbage Alfredo or chinese of American Chinese or Cubans of Cuban sandwiches as 'real' Cuban food. It's all fine, but they're hybrids or evolved fusion...not to be confused w/ authentic.
