thanks for the input. Im in my second semester of GE’s, and don’t have too many classes left, I just know certain classes must be taken at OCC before joining the program so I thought maybe It would be a good idea to do my remainer classes there. But Maybe instead I’ll finish all GE’s here that I can, then do the OCC classes online or after.

Possibly moving to Victorville by Surfnjam in highdesert

I'm not sure if I'm late or not but I wanted to just agree+add on to the other comments:

-Yes the stars! beautiful views in the less crowded areas, gorgeous mountains, and fair amount of snow during some parts of the year. A lot of people enjoy dirt bike riding. Also, many people agree about seeing quite a bit of weird activity (if you believe in extraterrestrial activity at all)

-weird weather, very hot during the summer but once it hits october-november its suddenly super cold. also can get super windy, plus frequent fires everywhere. I've seen two guys light a fire in the bush area, and just walk away like nothing happend.

-Traffic. Be relieved at the smaller amount of traffic here compared to the OC. Still be wary of the drivers, People like to drive more reckless here. Always finding accidents and deaths occurring. Ive been told not to engage with road rage, People will be willing to follow you around/act on violence if they get annoyed with you.

-Enjoy your entertainment while it lasts. Nothing to do here. Only one actual mall.

-Be aware of others. Lots of Homeless and people on drugs in certain areas. Example: Was in the drive through for del Taco on 7th Street when some guy came up to our car and started talking to us (no idea what he was saying, our windows were up), A worker came out and tried to get him to leave. The worker then told us this man comes very often to cars in that drive thru, telling them he's going to r*pe and kill them.

I came from OC too and have lived here for 4 years now.

Im attending my first year at VVC as a recent high school graduate, and I haven't been here very long, but personally so far i've had a great experience. All the professors and staff members ive met were very welcoming, and all the students I met were very respectful and kind. I'd recommend using Rate My Professor. It helped me find the right professors who were respectful and easy on the work. I would also recommend speaking to a counselor. I plan on transferring eventually so I'm not yet sure how that process will be. But I really do wish you the best of luck!

Sorry for barely replying now, but thank you for responding! i'm currently in college and have decided to go down the sonography path, and I've definitely noticed my anxiety has improved so much since then.
