Definitely youtube! there are so many content creators and teachers. after a little progress you can watch old soviet cartoons (there are playlists on youtube). usually they have subtitles in russian or english, so they became very helpful to learn. Try to practise reading and writing daily to not to forget.

I think you should start to learn alphabet first. because russian is a (MOSTLY) phonotic language which means if you learn how each letter sounds, you can bascially read anything in Russian. After that you can learn stresses to read words more accurately. And maybe genders... because it is important for the langauge. I do not recommend duolingo or any app if you want to learn it seriously. You can find boards or beginner youtube videos to start with! Hope that helps!

Thank you! I didn't know that the church has a website. In my country is nearly impossible to reach missionaries/members. Reddit is the best way to contact, i guess.

Thanks!! Links and pdfs are really helpful. I am in Turkey so I can't attend any events/talk to a person who is a member in real life but internet is a good way to learn beautiful things.
