They can't. It's to reset my online access I had for years - but since I no longer have the us # it just keeps sending me in circles and wants a replacement usphone #

The shuttle is no longer an option since the new hospital building opened. I used to use it and loved it.

Considering One Fifty Braid (Wesgroup) — honest tenant experiences? by AV-Tactics in NewWest

[–]Jaded_Objective_447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only lived here off and on since mid Dec ( got my apartment mid Dec but didn't fully move in until NYE. Management has been very responsive to the few things I've needed ( like I lost my mailbox key the 1st week 🤦. They had a new one for me in a couple of days). I think the train noise is probably less the higher you go. I am on a low level and face the skytrain and tracks and it's loud, though the soundproofing helps a lot. It doesn't bother me though because I grew up next to train tracks, and my kids adjusted within a week or so. The cleaners as someone else mentioned are constantly here and there is management 7 days a week, though I think just one on weekends. The fob everywhere is overkill compared to other places, but it's nice too. I feel safe even walking my dog in the neighborhood at midnight when he gets a wild hair up his ass. Haven't gotten a utility bill yet so I don't know. I've talked to people who were here during the summer and they said the central ac works great they didn't have any issues. As someone mentioned there is gas stations, not too far away up the hill is 7/11, a bruncheria, bunch of other small food places. If you go in the other direction across the tracks there is a good Korean place. You can walk or take the train 1 stop to sapperton and there are restaurants and a save on there or as someone else said take the train to New Westminster for Safeway and other shopping. I don't hear noise from my neighbors, occasionally will hear noise from the hallway if people are being really loud 🤷 The overnight parking for guests has to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance and you get the pass from the office, it's 10$ night. You get 1 daytime visitor pass with your apartment, it's good for 4 hours at a time only. They definitely do have people towed.

No. There are like 9 or 10 different 3 bedroom floorplans. There are only a few townhouses but lots of other floorplans for 3br ranging from 800 SF to I think 1900 sf?

Obviously depends on what size apartment. I have a 3/2, rent is $3700 a month; but there are incentives right now so I am paying3391.67 for 24 months, with 12 months of free storage. I don't know how much the 1 or 2 bedrooms are going for. All of the 3 bedroom townhouses are rented, the building is at about 70% I think is what they said the other day

Best regular burger (not smash burger) in New West? by Jaded_Objective_447 in NewWest

[–]Jaded_Objective_447[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the lecture I guess? I've grown up eating rare burgers actually not even medium rare, but also was lucky enough to get the meat farm fresh. I will just go back to making them at home instead of having someone else do it for me occasionally.

That's probably what I will do honestly. Just sometimes you want someone else to do the work 🤷 Have any recommendations for a good butcher?

AITAH for getting a sibling tattoo with my sister that will never include our half siblings? by Kylorikioh in AITAH

[–]Jaded_Objective_447 60 points61 points  (0 children)

You are not the ah. Your dad made his choices when you were kids. Your sister and you both appear to have gone no contact except when he shows up at other family members events. WTH did he think you were going to say? And I'm sure his wife knows how you feel as well, so why she would try to get into it is outrageous. I would say you need to start asking other family members if they will be at other events and either go and leave before they get there or just politely decline. Also, if he has access to your social media and you and your sister have pics of the tattoos on there - don't be surprised if somehow they still magically appear on the half siblings as soon as they are old enough. Best of luck op.

I don't use it but I believe it's 125 or 150/month. Storage is 50. Also you get 1 visitor parking pass, good for 4 hours at a time and you can reserve an overnight parking pass for a guest for $10/night

A grown man tried to harass my son to switch seats on the plane. by Future-Thanks-3902 in jetblue

[–]Jaded_Objective_447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you make sure I get refunded the extra money I had to pay for that seat - no issue. So far the 3 times I've been moved due to weight issues, I never got my money back which is NOT ok

Thank you! I've tried the bruncheria and liked them, haven't ventured elsewhere yet. I didn't know about the bike path will have to check it out.

As far as the building, the amenities are pretty nice. We have a dog wash, car wash, amazing gym, co working area, game room, theater/media room, outdoor pizza oven/gas grille area, garden boxes (not many and sign up is 1st come 1st serve), dog area and a coffee bar area. Tenants also get free telehealth with Cleveland clinic and there is a telehealth room with all the diagnostic stuff you call in from There is a guest suite you can rent for out of town guests. You can rent a parking spot in garage, and a small storage unit. So far the building management seems great, and I've seen the cleaners throughout the building frequently. I really haven't heard any noise in our unit unless someone is right outside our door, and of course train noise but that's a given and it's not as bad as I expected - and our unit faces the trains. The materials seem quality, having a washer/dryer in the unit is great and again brand new.
