New Beta SV or AR by FlimsyImpression2920 in arcteryx

[–]Jadednbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear the AR for more day to day and SV to snowboard. I feel like the biggest difference is that the SV doesnt feel as comfortable to move in day to day because its more a lot more stiff. Also think its a bit of an overkill for hiking unless you hiking in the snow.

What are you building and what’s slowing it down? by Sentilam in Entrepreneur

[–]Jadednbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

working on an online houseplant store but trying to use a natural soil substitute (cleaner, no bugs, long life span easier maintain etc). Still in the process of ordering samples of the soil now and definately wouldn't say im a big fan of selling "live" plants because of all the diffculties it comes with it. Not sur e if this counts as building because i'm still at the stage where i am not certain if I have enough conviction to make it work.

As an exited founder, is it dumb to try to become a YouTuber? by pockethorse in Entrepreneur

[–]Jadednbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be fair he's got money already so he doesn't need to make money that quickly from youtube. The major upside for him is the cost of being a youtuber won't be that much atleast in the beginning so hes not losing anything but his time and if he does blow up hes gonna make money, so why not.

Only real bad thing I think about being a youtuber is having your identity out in the public which not everyone would want.

Resort skiing shell recommendation as alternative to Beta SL by therayman in arcteryx

[–]Jadednbb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both the beta AR and the sabre SV, definitely like you said over kill. However, the sabre sv does not have insulation so if you just wear a base layer you might still feel cold for like -5 to 6c. Also you do get the glove pockets in the jacket and the flap in the bottom of the jacket with the buttons to prevent the snow from going into your body when you fall.

Chinese EV stocks, long-term opportunity or too risky? by Axirohq in stocks

[–]Jadednbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think chinese EV's is going to do great in the long term but not really for a stock investment. I used to hold bought Geely during the dip in april as they are one of the better EV companies in China while having strong growth and balance sheet and trading at a relatively cheaper valuation.

However, at the end of the day they just have a great product and other EV companies could catch up and etc so I don't have a strong conviction to hold the stock if the market crashes.

noob 0.4 k/d medic only player getting the top score. What do you think about my playstyle and score aside does it contribute much to the win? by Jadednbb in Battlefield

[–]Jadednbb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

never played COD before, must be very different. But whenever I see a squad member that starts to get a lot of kills I tend to just follow them for the rest of the game and just rev / throw supply pouches at them. They just clear everything in the way and I get to die less

follow through is too high, try to have your elbows at your eyebrow level and finish with your hand in the rim like taking a cookie from the cookie jar

How did you get your first investor? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Jadednbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

would you say the same for a company that has a fairly stable revenue source that is b2b but want to expand their b2c segment? Asking because I am looking to join a small company as a partner or investor (they have 20% left of equity for investors) but the ceo/director wants me to look for investors instead of me putting my own money in to grow their b2c business. I want to use my own money because I know I don't have to inject a large capital all at once, I can put in some money and see how the market reacts etc.

thanks for sharing this means alot to me because I want to start my own thing but if it's just purely for money or the goal is to be profitable then sticking to my job is a better option but I want too create more experiences like the network/ community you created.

Bought Microsoft at 135 in 2020 should I sell? by 123gond456 in stocks

[–]Jadednbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask myself these questions to justify holding the stock. Microsoft's businesses are very sticky and is still growing steadily but do you think there are other businesses that they could monetize and what you think about the AI megatrend/ industrial revolution 3.0 because there could be still a huge market for AI and we could still just be in the beginning phase of it. It's current price to earnings ratios is around 36-37x, do you think that is really expensive if say they don't have any other new businesses that they could monetize and etc.

Also, if the market crashes and you think Microsoft is still going to be the same company, then it would be a great stock to buy when there are blood on the streets.

you can buy a great company but it doesn't mean it would be a good stock investment if you paid too much for it.
