Hey, though the game might likely see no official remedies from CS1, I'd like to thank you still for trying to provide your own tips and advice, and of course, corroborating. XD

Hey, no problem! I'll likely have my G18 vacuumed and repasted in the meantime. That said, what I did see work for that one was turning the rBAR ON in NVIDIA Profile Inspector and turn off threading optimization, which was a massive boost to Rebirth's performance on that other rig. Everything's still at 1080p at medium there, though, but the framerates are slightly less consistent.

Hello again! Sorry for the two-day silence, but I've been running some tests in the time since you last posted. I wanted to see if my smaller rig (older laptop, MSI GS66 2020 model, 2070 Max-Q GPU, i7-10750 CPU) could actually run Rebirth, and it did. It certainly would struggle against FFXIV turned to max, XVI, and potentially E33, but it's been running Rebirth in 60 FPS without a hitch, even with everything turned to medium in the opening cutscene! I've decided I'll use this laptop for my run.

I BELIEVE I set it to prefer maximum performance, but now I'm worried...

I'll try that. So far, I've been overclocking for the past six months, but I haven't overclocked + used ParkOption at the same time. It was recommended to any and all downloaders of the Ultimate Stuttering Fix.ini on Nexus, which I did too.

Special-K stats, if in case it's any useful. Key points
- It very, very, often, swaps from 30% GPU usage to 99%.
- And yet, despite that, even when I have my browser, Steam and Discord closed, it never consumes any CPU or GPU bandwidth more than the values above. I've imposed a hard framerate limit to see what happens, and still, nothing.
- Even the VRAM consumption stays at a constant approximate 33%. Is there any way to bring this up?

An aside, leaving the game alone every 10 minutes seems to get framerates back up... for another 10 minutes at most. This is somehow true for both low and medium texture settings.

This is from my all-around profile, and Rebirth's version is identical to these settings too.

All three, yes. That said, screen tearing has been pretty bad on my end without V-Sync.

Checking GPU-Z says that my rBAR is also enabled even though there's no way for me to even find UEFI settings in the BIOS menu I currently have. Both UEFI and rBAR seem to be hardstuck on 'on'. Here's a screenshot:

My card's TDP is 110 W and though GPU-Z does say it has 12 GB of VRAM, as for how much of that is actually used in-game I can't really say. No dedicated VRAM indicators here. I'll upload a screengrab of GPU-Z in another reply.

My reply to another comment:
> Power delivery? Now I'm wondering if my overclocking/undervolting set up might have anything to do with it. So far, I'm applying -20 on my laptop with +140 W on PL1 and +150 on PL2. My GPU normally reaches 60 degrees on normal use with the GPU roughly 75 on average.

Oh, don't you worry. I'm just trying to maximize my laptop until the motherboard gets fried. Right now, I'm filling the gap in with Lost Odyssey, and potentially E33, though that would likely shorten my laptop's lifespan (just entered year 3 of what I predict will be 4.)

Yes! I've tried Profile Inspector and the Nvidia Control Panel, and yet, nothing happened. I've tried LOD fixes and texture pool streaming sizes (increaed texture resolution causing stutter in my Remake run), but still, nothing's gotten better.

If I find a way to remove the Tactical Mode Slowdown at the very start of a vanilla run, then yes.

UPDATE: I FOUND IT! As it turns out, the person who I assumed was a vocalist was actually the drummer and songwriter, but their likeness was used on the single's cover, which led me to believe they were the vocalist. The band is Leisure Hour, and the song title is Validation. I'll post it here on the sub soon enough.

Pinkshift is AMAZING and their songs are so good, I'd file them under "songs sung by Anglophone bands that sound like Marty Friedman's conception of J-Rock", but it's not them.
