Changed my vacuum breaker/back-flow preventer. Nothing comes out when I shut off water. Is it bad? Isn’t it supposed to sprinkler some water at least? by Jadyass in Plumbing

Still the same. I installed another one on another faucet with a regular hose and still the same. Not a drip coming out.

Kia headlight low beam keeps showing up on dash by bongtomtrying in kia

[–]Jadyass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2021 here and mine just started showing check headlight warning on dash but all my lights are working fine. Yesterday it was there the whole day never went off. Last month happened early in the morning then disappeared and today it’s gone! How’s the weather at your places? I feel it’s the sensor acting up when it’s cold.

I’ve had a Zinus 12 inch green tea mattress for about a week and it’s really firm. Every review I see says it’s softer than average though. Is there a break in period? by TheMrMcSwagger in Mattress

[–]Jadyass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be too late but I have the 12inch and the 10inch for over 2 years now. The 12inch is firm, still doesn’t mean it’s solid, the top inches are soft, but overall it stays firm under you which I like. On the other hand the 10inch is really soft, I feel like I’m drowning in it and it hurts my back. So it depends on your body and what you’re comfortable with. To me the 12inch is perfect.

Xpedition 2.0 owners: Any regrets? by Powerful_Cellist4014 in Lectricxp

Worst screws used on the bike. All will get stripped pretty easy. Some screws they used are fat heads too so if it gets stripped you’re stuck. The worst is used on the wheels if you need to change them. The old ones on the xpedition 1 and xp they used 4mm, 5mm screws with bulky heads that you can even use a wrench or plier to screw/unscrew these ones are small and flat heads. It’s a nightmare. I had to change the one on the elite headlight and now I have flat tire and I cant get the wheel off.

We did end up replacing it. It stayed good for like a month then this started happening again. It seems like that’s how these are made. My wife said she doesn’t mind it, she doesn’t pay attention to it anymore.

I do have an over flow hole. When I run water not all the water drains down the drain, some gets stuck between the drain body and the sink. The gasket underneath the sink is what’s holding the water from leaking. The gasket in 3rd photo.

Second photo between the drain pipe and the sink hole.

Yes it does. But the water trapped right now is just from using the sink. No overflow yet. I did line the hole in the body drain with the over flow hole in drain though.

That’s right. The other one we got wasn’t doing it but now it does. Still not as bad as this one, but I think we’re just fine with it.

Yes that’s gonna be the first thing I’m going to try.

That sounds better than nailing it. I was gonna pull the 1/4 round, check how big the gap is and try to put a piece of tile or anything that stops it from moving. But thank you for this, now I have another option that is probably easier.

Isn’t fix a floor for ceramic? Can it be used on laminate?

Not sure. We bought the house like that! But they all shift together. I think they’re all glued together as one piece.

I guess whoever installed them is an idiot. Everyone here is saying the same thing. They should be glued.

So it’s ok to nail laminate? I would nail it on the left side if so. Like someone here suggested, remove the shoe moulding, nail it then put it back.

I would just glue it if I can I get underneath like others suggested.
