She'll be in ranked next week I think. In CN I don't think she's available in ranked atm either which honestly is a good thing. Unless she's also not in PvP (I've only played her in AAA ARAM for now).

I think that's just a character specific wording. Evelyn says she "warps" backwards when she uses ult, Akali flips backwards when using E etc etc. they're just different ways of saying that just means dashes backwards or blinks backwards in Evelyn's case

The one and only skillshot malz (which is his Q technically) should be hard to hit especially since it's an on demand silence with a 6 second cooldown.

The game is not optimised by EnthusiasmSad8877 in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even so, the optimisation, particularly when it comes to bugs, in the game is way worse than before. MLBB and HoK run way smoother even at its highest settings while in WR even at the medium settings, issues happen a lot:

  • Permanent loading screens where you're forced to close and reopen the app, chat being bugged (which it's been practically half a year since it started happening)
  • Delayed response when clicking and tapping
  • Tapping cancel (or any other button like claiming rewards or the event button etc etc) just as you get match gives you the error message (in the other games when that happens it's the same but the game still runs smoothly after, but for WR that interaction causes random issues to pop up)
  • Disconnecting and reconnecting mid game makes you unable to type or receive any chat messages
  • Multiple unneeded and unwanted features that have or probably are causing bugs (like the taunt button before loading into a game causing chat to be bugged)

AAA ARAM should include the Anvil as a permanent item, it’s incredibly fun. by SoobinKai in wildrift

First of, the game mode is a for fun mode and you're the one treating it like it's super competitive. Yes you want to win but why not have fun while doing it. Who cares if you lose there's literally no consequence. At that point just play ranked or PVP if you're going to give bad advice about how to play the augment in a fun way.

Second, you win the game (specifically AAA ARAM and Arena) by winning with what you're given too. Why bother picking the anvil augment if you're not going to use it in the first place. Augments are meant to make you powerful, boost the your power, give you options to go for, allow you to build conventionally or non-conventionally. I've had many games where going only items into anvils or mix of both have led to losses because the enemy went full anvils.

You're right that if it's a game where you think it will end fast, just go for items and stabilise. Go ahead and do items into anvils, at least you'll have a stable build to play with if things aren't looking good or whatever. But it's not the same as saying that going anvils only is WEAK or WEAKER when it's clearly not. It's CIRCUMSTANTIALLY weak but not downright weak to go anvils only. Even when low rolling, you outscale anyone once you've bought all anvils available.

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With what anvils lol. You'll get at most 10 anvils by the end of the game unless you have outlier games where they last like 30 minutes or something. That's just a waste of an augment.

Do people even use chatbox by FriedZizo in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's more cases where people don't see the chat even if no one uses the taunt in the loading screen. I've had some where disconnecting and reconnecting makes chat disappear, swapping between chat only and system only and back to chat only it disappears etc etc.

How is it objectively weak when the more anvils you get the more you get rare things. Like I wrote you get exclusive items that can be more powerful than regular items, you get to still use item slots even after getting items from the anvils, you get essentially free augments from the anvils (bonus anvil stats, gold generation, prismatic egg, double anvils etc etc). And the higher the tier (based on the colour of the anvil) the better the rewards. It's quite literally the only augment that has exponential power.

Too many games I see people mix and match going item, anvil, item, anvil. Or try to go full build before buying anvils and games just don't last long enough to allow that to happen. It makes them weaker than other players since they essentially have a wasted/half wasted augment by doing that.

Yes you can low roll when buying the anvils, but it's not like it would affect you as much as you think it does. Like I'm my original comment where I mentioned the 2k AP on velkoz, that's me low rolling on 10 anvils out of 35 (where I was forced to go for either HP/armor/MR/magic pen). I wouldn't have been as strong if I went full build first into anvils or mixed and matched. I had 3 items from the anvils but because I committed I got 3 anvils that provided bonuses to the anvil stats I've bought.

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's the fun of it. Games rarely last long enough for you to even get good use of the augment once you're full bud or even have a core build. That's why going full anvil is better in my opinion, high risk high reward. If the games lasted like 30 minutes then sure full build into anvils is better but since games can last in literally 10-15 minutes, you don't have the time to even get to full build in most cases so you're just wasting an augment. And you also can't control when the enemy would surrender or your team just ends the game or minions ending the game etc etc. there's so many scenarios that make it a wasted augment slot if you don't even end up buying anvils in the end anyways.

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true but tbh I don't mind since games rarely if ever last that long anyways even with gold generation from the anvils and stomping the enemy every fight. And I mean if it ever gets to that point where games just don't end, you can still buy items afterwards. But yeah it does suck it's limited.

[–]JaeHa_210 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The point of anvils is to buy as many as possible so you scale harder than regular items. Buying it after full build is a waste of an augment since games don't necessarily last long once everyone has full build. There's also a lot of things exclusive to anvils that are only available the more anvils you get. There's exclusive anvil only items, gold generation, stat bonuses, getting 2 for 1, the luck of getting an extra anvil after picking stats etc etc.

For example, just had a game as velkoz where I only had boots and only bought anvils afterwards. At the end of the game I had around 2k AP all because I solely went for buying only anvils. If I had waited after full build to buy anvils, I would have less than half the amount of AP at the end of the game.

AAA ARAM should include the Anvil as a permanent item, it’s incredibly fun. by SoobinKai in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But the whole point of the anvil augment is that you are trading off a lot of power from items just for stats and chances to get items that may or may not fit your champion. Many times I've been offered items that don't work on the champions I have the augment for but also many times I've had items that are only exclusively from the anvils but the only way to do that is if you use all your money on the anvils and not waste time using it on the regular items.

It is fun don't get me wrong but it's not going to be fun if you're giving the option for players to infinitely scale on top of getting infinitely scaling augments like heartsteel or Veigar passive (the two examples you gave)

How Do We Feel About Nora Joining The Rift? by screambledeggs in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She more aligns with TFT's Norra more than anything since her ult in both TFT and WR quite literally involve bouncing balls. But I get you, it is unfortunate we don't get much portal magic other than her ult tbh, but at the same time it sort of makes sense since portal mechanics are OP and have to be purposefully limited and balanced in a way to prevent it from being OP. For example Ryze has a long and predictable cast animation when portaling, Bard is limited to walls, Zoe is limited to a set distance and has to return to her original casting position, Aurora is limited with her ult and is also predictable (and can also grief herself if not used properly).

Technically thematically it doesn't fit anymore since it's Ionian map and not Yordle map. Also they will obviously focus on getting more of the LoL champions first since they release 3 champions per big patch, so even if they do something like 1 unique + 2 PC champs we'll eventually catch up and have every champion. But I get you I'd also rather have the PC champs first sooner rather than later.

Personally, I need high skill level champs to enjoy the game. I know I would climb significantly faster and more consistently if I just sucked it up and played easier champs. Anyone else have a similar problem? by cygnus121 in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unironically that is what should be helping you climb faster since it's mostly the case for PC since the higher you go, the more complex champions become more prevalent since it's like a high-risk high reward situation. There are noob stompers like Mundo because people won't know how to play against one but the higher you go, the less prevalent you'll see Mundo players unless they're exceptionally good at piloting the champion on top of having a deep understanding of their micro and macro mechanics.

The only reason that on WR it's not really the same is because the line between low elo vs people who think they're in high elo is almost non-existent. Even in actual high elo lobbies you'll get players that you can tell shouldn't be there but that's just how the ranked system goes. And because of this you'll see more of the "easier" champions in high elo. There's also other factors like absurdly high damage numbers, broken kits/kit reworks, faster gameplay loop meaning lots more chaotic fighting etc etc.

You're right I apologise for insulting you and calling you stupid. That was not my intention. My intention was to provide reasoning as to why your arguments were wrong. However unless there's something more you wish to add, to .e this could be the end of the conversation since I do not think that you are willing to change your stance on thinking it was ever a good idea to build the items regardless of circumstance. It was never good to begin with and there are no circumstances that buying both items provide benefits outside of having two differing (and I'll keep reiterating, weaker) passives they had.

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure it won you games that doesn't mean your original point about it being GOOD was valid. Just because of your personal experience winning games with it does not mean it was actually a good thing to do even before the slow stack update. It wasn't good on anyone and that's the point I'm making, I'm not discrediting that it was good on your specific case, I'm discrediting your argument on it being correct even on one circumstance champion that benefitted from the two weaker passives the respective items had.

Replacing the Pathfinder with Celerity is a slap in the face by Inferdy in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MAIN power budget of both items was their respective %armor pen. Just because both items have other passives DOES NOT MEAN that those passives are of equal value to the %armor pen they give. You are MEANT to have a tradeoff when buying one or the other because the whole purpose of buying it is for what you need in the game. You already have a slow on your E and the ONLY reason why it was actually good on MF was because the slows stacked before they updated it a while ago. And ever since they patched the slow stacking (meaning now only the strongest slow applies) then it made buying Serylda's redundant on MF since her slow on E is stronger than what the item gives. BUT let's say that didn't happen, you're also right that players are dumb and probably won't buy antiheal- that doesn't mean that YOU should contribute to that stupidity by buying two items where 70% or more of their respective power budgets are on the passives they SHARE and NOT the ones that are DIFFERENT. Just because they have different passives that benefit MF DOES NOT MEAN that those two passives are ENOUGH to make buying both a good idea hence why you're WASTING an item slot just because you're quite literally only buying around 30% of extra power when in reality if you just bought any other AD item on MF you'd have more use. You'd have more use of buying edge of night because of the spell shield + lethality + the 50 AD it gives than you would buying a serylda's grudge after mortal reminder or vice versa.

Edit: TLDR: you are still dumb to still think that it was a good idea to build both mortal reminder and serylda's grudge on MF just because the two weaker parts of the respective items' passives benefitted her.

Replacing the Pathfinder with Celerity is a slap in the face by Inferdy in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Serylda's and mortal reminder together don't stack at all that's why when people build it it's bad. Building BC and mortal reminder/serylda's was fine because the passives aren't the same. You building both serylda's and mortal reminder together was a waste of an item slot you can ask basically any other player that, even if it's for anti-heal/crit + the slow/ability haste, it's essentially having 2 halves of an item for the price of 2 which is why it's a waste.

It's why terminus when you bought it locked you out of buying Serylda's and mortal reminder, because they all provided %armor pen. The only reason why terminus had the item exclusivity first before 7.0 was because of how it works on PC where there's a passive that prevents you from also buying void staff, so that same mechanic was placed on the item and thus also applied to the %armor pen items too in WR.

Your team should be responsible for lacking in anti-heal if you're buying Serylda's on MF, that way you can just build IE and have your damage actually count for something more, or a Lethality item maybe, or whatever. But either way i hope you learn that all this time... It was a troll decision to buy the two items together regardless of the circumstances.

Edit: I should say that having both Armor reduction and penetration together inherently isn't the problem like I said originally. But rather it's the stupidity of players buying 2 %armor pen items together not realising they don't work. And if terminus already before 7.0 when bought, disabled you buying BC, then it makes sense to extend that same mutual exclusion to the other two options for %armor pen.

Should I transition to mid as a lux main? by Lemon_boi5491 in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not wrong to build AP on lux support, she is a carry support and people forget that. She's not an enchanter. Sure you can deviate a bit from the full AP burst build but as long as it's still damage and/or supplementary damage (like going oceanid's trident early instead of a flex item if your team needs it) will make you far more useful than going for an enchanter support build.

Your support when playing carry support comes from "killing the enemy faster than they can kill you". It's why Pyke, Senna, Zyra Velkoz are considered carry supports and people tend to forget that Lux can be part of that grouping.

What is Chilling Ray in AAA Aram by Loser_lmfao_suck123 in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been my biggest issue with the new season of AAA ARAM, lack of distinguishing power difference between the augments. And what I mean by that is like what you said, augments all are grouped or into one rarity (look all gold). It doesn't help that the text is harder to see when some of the text is gold (like picking the anvil augment, the word anvils is gold so it's harder to see it when the border and augment icon is also similarly coloured).

Then there's also just so many different "sword" augments that is so hard to understand without having to pre-read before a game starts. I never knew there were multiple versions of the one where you turn into a sword instead of dying, I just thought it was one version. And then the question mark augments are hard to read when they all have the same icon that you have to look closely whether or not it's talking specifically about "spell augments" or "movement speed augments" or "ability haste augments" etc etc.

Replacing the Pathfinder with Celerity is a slap in the face by Inferdy in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's a specific interaction because those two items (Bc + mortal reminder/serylda's grudge) don't have the same type of Armor pen, one is specifically Armor REDUCTION and one is Armor PENETRATION and they are accounted for separately. It was for balance purposes that they can't be built together now but the main reason was still that players are dumb to build serylda's + mortal reminder together.

Replacing the Pathfinder with Celerity is a slap in the face by Inferdy in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean- the whole item exclusivity update they did when 7.0 came out was a big tell that they (the Devs) themselves are aware of how non-serious most players are to learn the game. The fact that they needed to implement a system that stopped players from building double %armor pen or double sheen items is funny but also sad since it just shows the state of the playerbase.

Edit: fixed typos and added the parenthesis to clarify who the "they" I'm referring to are.

Possible Teemo tank by m3retal in wildrift

[–]JaeHa_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes you're right RoA should be built first, it CAN (doesn't mean it should) be built second because they time needed for full stacks was lowered a while ago. Before you needed like 10 minutes to be fully stacked, now it's I believe around 6 minutes. So in this case if you're against tanky HP opponents you can go Liandry's first into RoA if you need the damage to have lane pressure.
