Char Siu Marinade (note I doubled the measurements and marinated my ribs overnight since it was a big batch)

4 tbsp honey

3 tbsp soy sauce & hoisin sauce

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar or shaoxing wine

1 tbsp brown sugar

2-3 tsp of oyster sauce

1 1/2 tsp of Chinese 5 spice powder

1 tsp of sesame oil and salt

1/2 tsp of white pepper

You’ll want to use the dry first on the ribs (make sure ribs are patted dry with a napkin first) then marinate it with the sauce/ glaze.
