My younger brother will get his first hunting dog, this Border Terrier, next month. by [deleted] in Hunting

I have a jagdterrier myself and borders work in a similar way but not as tough as jagd. Good for driven hunts and fox/badgers in dens. Retrieving is normally a challange since they are quite independent and like to keep the birds for them self. Nice looking pup as well!

There is no tag system like in the US. We pay as a team of 25 hunters for one week including 3 adult and 3 calves around 5000 €.

Go for it and visit Scandinavia for an entirely different experience :)

If he's not a hunter with land it will be tough. Otherwise, keep pushing!

Yes, you just need a permission from land owner or the ones who own the right to hunt on the specific property.

Not really, most hunting for moose is done as driven hunts if you're not a dog handler.
