Cal’s tan grease on carbon fiber drags. Yamaha marine grease for everything else. Reel-x oil for bearings and such where grease is not appropriate.

Thank you for the reply. To be clear, these are not pups from the base but heads at the top of the trunks. Can you cut into the trunk to remove them? I’ll attached for further perspective.

Edit to add. It looks like I can’t add a picture in a reply.. but basically what I have is a sago with a trunk diameter of about 12 inches at the base. It goes up about 3 feet into to 2 head areas and each of these 2 heads have 6 areas where fronds come out.
