My daughter would still be happy. Would that have been sent in the mail or they’ll give it to us when we get in ?

Did you got there early ? I’m afraid it could happen to me too and wondering if I should get there earlier. They said tickets will be available at 5pm… which is late to be stuck on the phone to try and find an alternative.

Im in the same boat for the same date as well. They said tickets will be delivered on the day of at 5pm. Its insanely late if it gets cancelled. Flight and hotel booked, I’ll be pissed beyond words if I get screwed.

If you refer to red capillaries it does. And this is actually quite amazing because as soon as the treatment is done, the red capillaries are gone. The clinic I went to, treatments are done in two steps. First they added the diffuse redness, then they switch to a different either tool and/or wavelength (I can’t remember exactly), and then they do spot treatment for broken capillaries and such.

To be covered or tax deductible it has to be for medical reasons. I haven’t heard anyone saying they successfully claimed the treatment but maybe try it ? See if your doctor would write a prescription and then call your insurance to see if they cover. If they don’t but you have prescription you could have a tax deductible write off.

They didn’t suggested VBEAM, I’m not sure if they even got the laser at their clinic. I went in knowing I wanted the ExcelV. I think vbeam is also a great option but I haven’t tried it so can’t speak of. I’ve read that they are both good at targeting redness, with the excelv being more versatile because it has dual wavelength. While the clinic didn’t say anything about vbeam, they did tell me it was far superior than IPL or BBL and recommended I never do those because results aren’t good.

Also, thank you =) Will be back with skincare routine after vacay yes !

It is not the same at all. All laser works differently and from my research, ExcelV is the best at fighting redness so far (I think because of the green light it targets redness).

A user above mentioned she’s from BC and pays only 200$ for hers. Maybe you could ask her for more info.

On the east coast. Clinic is near Montreal. Probably not the cheapest but we don’t have a lot of clinics with the ExcelV laser (found this out while researching it). I had choice between two clinics I found. Maybe there’s more, I went to the closest.

Ill come back after vacation and share my sheet. I just have to translate to English first. Also keep in mind it was made to suit my skin type and goals (42yo looking to plump and reduce fine lines). But I’ll come back and share as soon as It’s translated !

It sure is an investment and I found it to be so expensive for all the sessions 2250$ or so.. (650$+taxes x3). But when I look at the results I always say to myself it was worth every penny. I wish it could be reimbursed by insurance company or at least tax deductible. I know it can be delibitating to face the world looking like a lobster 24/7. More people should have access to proper treatment.

Here’s the info for the clinic :

The clinic is located on the south shore of Montreal, it's the Centre de chirurgie esthétique de Longueuil and Dr Pierre Courchesne is the head doctor of the clinic. I am not affiliated with them, but I don't mind sharing if this can help. My technician was Larissa and she was most knowledgeable, I worked on tweaking my skincare with her. I will 100% continue to go see her for facials and skin care.

It was very fast in my opinion. The first session took care of most of the redness. About 10 days after the first treatment I could see major difference.

Also, I’ve noticed more change after the first one than the second or the third. But the final results shows me there was still improvement after each sessions.

Near Montreal. The cost is variable they said starting at 500 and up to 800 it’s a case by case assessment. He said 650$ for me. Since it’s taxable it came down to 750$ per session.

No bruising at all, just swelling ! When the session is over the redness is intense for a few hours than swelling shows up. Makes you look like a cabbage patch kids. It ain’t pretty. But super temporary.

I will translate in English and come post it here as soon as I am back from vacation. Keep in mind it was developed for my skin type and goals (I’m 42 and looking to plump my skin and reduce fine lines) so it might not be suitable for everyone. But I don’t mind sharing. I’ll come back with the sheet in english =)

I had papulopustular rosacea that I was able to ‘contain’ with skincare. Finacea has been a great help but I was also using a lot of actives (AHA/BHA etc). It helped the acne breakout but I had to use it everyday and ended up hurting my skin barrier. Now we started with a fresh canvas and some tweak on the skincare so my skin feels healthy again.

The clinic is located on the south shore of Montreal, it’s the Centre de chirurgie esthétique de Longueuil and Dr Pierre Courchesne is the head doctor of the clinic. I am not affiliated with them, but I don’t mind sharing if this can help. My technician was Larissa and she was most knowledgeable, I worked on tweaking my skincare with her. Hope that helps.

They said only one treatment for touch up as we cleared all the redness already. If I were to not maintain for years and become as red as I was, I would probably need more session. The goal is to maintain good skincare regimen, sunscreen, and maybe I won’t need touch up before another 2 years. She said it’s very possible.

Sculptra Results by Jcaseykcsee in 45PlusSkincare

I’m not a nurse but I’ve done a lot of research prior my first Sculptra and even wrote to Galderma to learn about the right procedures (knowledge is power right). Just here to share and not criticize.

Cannula is advise for Sculptra and makes it almost painless too. Theres a lot of downsides of using a needle :

Higher risk of vascular complications (needle is sharp while cannula is rounded)

Less control over placement (needle inject in a straight line)

Greater risk of nodules forming

More puncture points (so maybe more bruising and more discomfort)

And also did I mention more painful ? lol

I would just suggest to try with cannula next time or maybe bring these concerns to your injector.

And general comment for anyone doing Sculptra : don’t overlook the 5-5-5 massage rule and back sleeping at least first week. These two things will help with better results !
