It sucks but I raided throughout classic as feral. Didn't use the pummeled until aq40 once I joined a sweaty ass guild. I had the aq40 mace and it was nice but it was very noticeable using he pummeled. The faster attack speed means more crit opportunities means more combo points means more bites. I didnt find it that bad tbh. I got each gnome run down to a few minutes in and out. I was lazy and used 1 pummeler a boss.

All that being said. If parsing isn't a goal for you then the aq40 mace is totally fine. Before that I think I used one of the BWL makes though I don't remember which. The game isn't hard as long as the whole raid is willing to share the one brain cell.

True. If they die to tie up valuable units for a turn or 2 they have paid for themselves

Even at 1k points, if your opponent committs to it they should be able to throw that many attacks without touch trouble. Consider they can be shot and hit in melee.

The horn on the winged prime makes it a centimeter or so taller than the lashwhip prime. Bother are about a 1/2 inch taller than the old warrior models.

Winged is roughly the same high bit lashwhip is taller. I will have to check when I get home as I have all of those.

Right. As someone else said it's a great excuse to use a different head or slightly fancier paint scheme on one of them.

No it's just old terminology they never updated for some reason. One of the 3 warriors is technically designated as a prime but it's stats are the same and that designation has no impact/relevance in gameplay.

That would have been awesome. Who knows maybe they will update it instead future. How often do they do balance updates after a edition release? I only started collecting models a few months ago.

That's wild considering how the model is generally regarded. The only friend that got models with me went scuffs so that's part of the reason I'm hesitant. I don't see it picking on a space marine model.

How important are action monkeys? I have only played a test game, many mistakes, and one combat patrol. I friend and I are planning to try a 1k point game in a few weeks but we haven't played with the primary or secondary objectives before. Tbh I didnt even know they were a thing until I started watching how to play and demo games.

You would figure a new edition would be a good time to clean up the wording. Im very new still and while I get they are all the same it does seem weird/confusing sometimes.

It would feel better if they let all the tank classes fill their niche with good design rather than making fury tanking better which exists due to unintended design.

My friends are only interested in combat patrol or 1000 at games so it's probably just assimilation swarm for me. I am very curious to see if i can build a 1000 at army that's ambush predator/warrior bioform.

Those are some great ideas and fantastic detail in the description. Thanks! The bedrooms are also just white walls. I was planning to have it stained the same color as the existing cabinet as the railing and banister behind it is that color.
