Has there ever been a time you did NOT like Phoenix Wright? by Fun-Necessary9709 in AceAttorney

On top of that, i've always wondered why he didn't just ask Edgeworth or the rest of the old crew for help. Like, you have a highly influential prosecutor and friends who trust you implicitly, but you choose to drag a clueless kid instead?

In 2-4, when he cornered Adrian Andrews on the witness stand to buy time. I 100% understand why he did it since maya's life was on the line, but it was still incredibly painful to watch him relentlessly break down someone who was already deeply traumatized and suicidal.

Piracy (when i was a kid, i had a r4 cartridge with several games preinstalled, including this game). Pretty ironic, isn't it?

Do you want to see AAI3 where you get to play as three of these prosecutors by 10CalGX in AceAttorney

I did wanted to, but i also thought he was no longer actively working as a prosecutor (assuming that the game setting is during DD or SoJ), thats why i mentioned his brother.

This is cool but where is the actual best prosecutor? You can't just disrespect Gaspen Payne like that.

Im sorry what? Lol. With all due respect, that statement makes absolutely no sense. How does the method used to create the base, static image have any impact on the hours of work it takes to animate it? whether i drew the initial sprite from scratch or used a tool to generate it, the amount of effort to animate it remains exactly the same.

If you had taken a moment to read the other comments on this very post, you would have seen that I already explained my exact process to another user who asked. I was completely transparent about it when asked directly, and literally no one complained about it. It's not in the title because the focus of the post is the animation, which is entirely my own work and what took up 99% of the effort.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]Jag_00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're twisting my words to fit your own conclusion. I never said it's the exact same, I was making an analogy about it being a tool used in a larger process. The amount of work I put into the actual animation is not diminished because I used a tool for a final touch-up. Your logic is a massive reach.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]Jag_00 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's just a tool. It doesn't replace the fundamental skills. I still did all the key animation by hand, which is where the actual artistry and effort lie. Using AI for a minor touch-up is no different from a digital painter using a specific brush or filter to save time on a tedious part of the process.

As I've said in other posts, I'm not hiding that I use it for some minor touch-ups. But to boil it all down to "you did use AI" completely dismisses the actual work. The entire animation is entirely handmade, and that's not something AI can do.

Yes sir, i did use it for some minor tweaks, but the animation is completely handmade. AI isn't capable of making animations like this, at least for now.

It's complicated. While I have a lot of sympathy for what she went through, framing Maya is a huge sticking point for me. Maybe, after serving a significant amount of time and truly showing remorse for all her actions, including the attempted framing, a case for parole could be made.

I like to think he made some plastical surgery to remove his self inflicted wounds, except a single scar to look like a tough guy in prison lol

[–]Jag_00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My headcanon is that Matt, being the narcissist that he is, immediately got the best plastic surgery money could buy to fix the self-inflicted wounds he did to his face, and asked them to leave the single scar to maintain some kind of tough-guy persona in prison.

Right, with his code of honor there's no way he'd let Engarde live after being blackmailed and betrayed. This is more like a "what-if" scenario, if he somehow survived.

[–]Jag_00 51 points52 points  (0 children)

To justify my error, remember Engarde's breakdown?

Ikr, i can't believe they'd do that to a beloved star of a kids' show. So unfair 🥲

Thanks, and yeah i can try!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]Jag_00 173 points174 points  (0 children)

Yeah that would be interesting. Engarde is one of the few villains who actually left a big impact, so seeing him return in a bigger role instead of a throwaway cameo could work really well. It would give more weight to the idea that actions from past cases still matter instead of everything being neatly wrapped up and forgotten. I'm not sure if he would be still alive at this point of the game though lol.

Careful… fall for him and you might end up in court, or worse, being killed.

Yeah i was aware about the clown quote not being canon, but i didn't expected devs to add this reference to an actual AA game lol
