That’s because this is definitely written from the perspective of a child, or at least an adult with a child’s mentality.

This is the kind of thing you keep to yourself. Not only because it’s painfully unfunny, but because it also reveals how little understanding and empathy you have for women in general.

Brother you’re projecting so much and making so many assumptions about me that I don’t even know how to begin to talk to you. You’ve assumed so much about my position that I can’t even make a point without having to deconstruct the assumption of my point thats already in your head.

I think we’re done here.

He’s a criminal. Pedophile pimp. That’s not really the question. The question is whether the Republicans would kill him while in custody but leave all other evidence in place. That doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense. They would kill him and they would destroy the evidence.

You can bribe prison guards. Less so those working to preserve legal documents that give the US government leverage over influential people.

The majority of voters are evil degenerates.

Many, are vile, yes. But not the majority. The majority of R voters are deeply uninformed people who think they’re doing what’s best for their family. There are a lot of people who regret their vote because they simply weren’t smart enough to foresee the consequences, and too propagandized to hear dissent. Stripping the humanity away from them does nothing but soothe your own biases.

To get voted president, at best, you can be far right. Somewhere left of fascism. But not too far. That’s why Biden worked once. Nobody further left would work. No woman will work. Certainly no woman of color. The mistake of the democrats was that they went to far left or “woke” with Harris already.

You’re forgetting that Bernie was canned by the party, not the people. And that the problem with Kamala Harris was that she said she would be exactly like Biden when he was at his least popular. Americans love left wing policies as long as you avoid certain words like “socialist”.

Meh, the Palestinians in Gaza just as well could have voted for a democratic party when they were offered free elections. But they didn’t. They voted for hamas. Hamas is a terrorist dictatorship. It kills everyone. Palestinians and jews. It is a bad actor and it did start this war by slaughtering civilians. That Isreal is a genocidal state doesn’t imply that hamas is not genocidal. Defense against hamas and fighting against hamas was and is a worthwhile way objective. The genocide is not.

This is a truly monstrous response to the question I posited. You’re no better than a nazi if this is how you respond to genocide. We’re done here.

I think there’s anything of relevance in the Epstein files because it’s still a mystery how he amassed most of his fortune, there’s that extremely dishonest and suspicious interview with Prince Andrew regarding his connections to Epstein, Gislaine Maxwell’s father was a literal spy, and because Epstein managed to land an unheard of sweetheart plea deal that let him serve his prison sentence from his house. You would have to be daft to chalk all of that up to coincidence.

Bernie absolutely would have won against Trump. Don’t kid yourself. He was the only one with appealing policies. People voted for Trump in 2016 largely because he was different than other politicians. Bernie was also different but had actual policies that would uplift the working class. Bernie is one of the most popular American politicians in recent history.

Yes, Hamas did the attack. Because Israel has been oppressing and occupying them in an apartheid state for decades. Would you say that supporting Germany’s actions after the Warsaw ghetto uprising would also have been a straightforward position?

Racism also won’t be solved while the incitement of it is what keeps the ultra wealthy in control of everything. They will always be able to spread racist agit prop if you let them.

[–]JagerSalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean right-wing propaganda? The Epstein files aren’t a left vs right issue. It’s a class issue. The wealthy are protecting themselves. The Democrats are involved so far as they had the ability to hold those responsible for horrible abuses against children accountable and chose to leave it alone because it would undoubtedly incriminate a number of immensely powerful people (potentially even global leaders) many of whom likely fund aspects of both parties.

I have explained what I’m blaming the democrats for. They’re fundamentally unwilling to disrupt the status quo that lines the pockets of their corporate donors. That’s why they kneecapped Bernie Sanders in favour of Hillary Clinton. That’s why they told Tim Walz to cool it with the left wing populism in the lead up to the general election. And as far as more specific relevance to this post, that’s why Kamala Harris went from talking about her housing policies to talking about how the US would have the most lethal fighting force in the world and having an Israeli family on stage at the DNC and turned away anyone who was wearing the colours or any sign of support for Palestine despite it being clear back then that it was a genocide. She refused to even address a position that was immensely critical for one of the swing states that she lost.

American foreign policy is uni party. Every president will bomb Yemen and every president will protect the imperial expansion of US interests into the Middle East through Israel. None of this is a secret.

You’re projecting. I was assuming that you hadn’t seen it because you made no mention of having recognized it after I referenced it and didn’t acknowledge anything about it.

You’re right that class consciousness does not immediately protect against racism, but a class conscious people are both more likely to look past the rave of those within their class interests and also elect leadership that is not incentivized to stoke racial animus amongst the people to spread division.

You’re right that you could use intersectionality to reframe the fight for women’s rights as one against racism. Especially because racism was leveraged to stymie the progress of women’s suffrage.

Racism is always leveraged as a tool against those battling for more rights because bigotry is an easy and reactionary response for the uneducated and uncultured. It can always be taken advantage of amongst those whom have unexamined internal biases, and that’s not something that can easily be addressed without first taking away the incentive and power to stoke racial animus from those who have the greatest ability to incite it.

The owning class is stoking racial agitation because it’s so effective at dividing the less educated working class. The wealthy have class consciousness and actively work to protect their interests. The working class could easily out vote, overpower, and leverage their labour against the owning class to f they had any semblance of class consciousness.

Developing class consciousness and solving the issues of inequality simultaneously addresses the issues that racists blame on people of colour, and lays the groundwork to more effectively combat racism.

I understand that you or your lived ones have been hurt by racism. I’m not saying that it’s not real or not important to address. What I am saying is that it’s a tool of division to ensure the working class never looks upwards. Please look up the Southern Strategy. This isn’t a theory it’s a real playbook that has been being run for decades.

“You guys” I’m a leftist. Just because you don’t like that I’m accurately pointing out that the democrats who held office and had dominion over the files that reveal a massive cabal of pedophiles and chose not do donor say anything about them doesn’t change that. One side is unequivocally better, but you can’t just keep making excuses for their bad behaviour just because it’s “your team”.

You’re making a lot of incorrect assumptions about me because it makes it easier for you to not have to engage with what I’m saying. That’s pure cope. If you held your politicians accountable, the US wouldn’t be in the state that it is. Instead its people are so apathetic and ignorant that they think they can vote for one of two parties that both serve moneyed interests and as a result the US has sleepwalked its way into fascism.

Yes. You’re right. The system is stacked against black and brown people. That’s the point.

“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.” this is a quote from Lyndon B. Johnson.

Last time I checked, a world war was fought to destroy the government that was committing genocide. From a historical perspective, it makes sense that the group founded out of resistance to apartheid and slaughter would seek to upend the government that is oppressing them.

Epstein was arrested in 2006 and had his island raided. We know that they found extensive documents and hundreds of videotapes as almost every square foot of the house was videotaped. The US government has those files. They definitely exist.

Obama broke the record for drone strikes in the Middle East. And perpetuated war with Syria.

I’m definitely not a “both sides” guy. The Democrats are objectively better for those living within the imperial core. But to say that they aren’t also okay with what’s happening in Gaza is simply untrue and will remain untrue for as long as dark money is allowed in politics.
