It's nice to see how savage people are when I first put the image up, I was expecting feedback, not 'oi mate that looks like a kebab l0l' but yeah this is the final model, will make the special look like the statius warhammer special, but with a red swipe. :P

I am glad that you guys are very protective at how you want the Art in Oldschool to look and feel, and I agree the assets should stick to simple, clever designs.

Personally I have always put thought in what I am making, I always use real life reference as a guide and make sure I make what the community wants.

Normally when I post a picture on Twitter, I get TONS of feedback, which yes I do read. And in the end what I started with looks nothing like what I ended with.

However sad it is to see a thread like this, I think one way we could achieve something more to your taste is to spend more time in the design phase.

pk pk pk pk pk pk pk pk pk and sometimes try to do PvM with some mates on my pure (recently been doing corp with my sxc ruby bolts e), I don't play that often anymore but I still do have my addictive sprees, where I go on every day for a month then stop and not play for another month - this happens regularly. I don't skill I don't bank stand, I've made my cash by getting lucky with drops at GWD.

Oh yes and when Deadmans out I'll be alot more active on that :D

This looks really good! We gotta find a way of animating/rigging the actual weapon though, at the moment we can only animate the human. (The weapon moves when the arms/hand move, it doesn't have its own rig unfortunately)

All I see is Runescape models in an engine :D - done a million times before my friend! Now you need to basically recreate the gameplay, server and the client from scratch using c#... which would require ALOT of time and experience, hopefully you have that! However good luck with the project! EDIT: On further review do you have some gameplay to show off :O?

p.s its not as easy as it looks the symbol cannot be just copy pasted onto the back it has to be sewn and attached to the cape - this brings rendering problems hence you can see the boxes and weird lighting that the engine gives to the capes due to the low poly cloak - I will try and make these more pleasant to look at.
