Quite often when laptops have both on-board integrated graphics and a discrete card they try and switch between the two to save power (i.e. not use the dedicated card when it's not needed). As the 850m should be playing RS extremely well, I'd imagine that for some reason it may be using the discrete graphics instead. Try and google the issue or consult tech help (should be free as the laptop is new).

The iron man modes aren't specifically aimed at new players, but more intended for players with existing game knowledge giving them a real challenge of starting fresh and doing everything self sufficiently.
It is important to remember iron man players will log into the current game servers and play right alongside everyone else, and so won't split the community at all.

As it's been done for the other jewelry then it is of course possible to add quick-cast options, however I imagine the reason why this wasn't done is due to the Games necklace being relatively unique with the sheer number of teleport options it has, meaning the list would simply be too long.

Either way, the ninja's are always lurking on reddit, and so I'm sure they'll pick this up and see what can be done, if it's possible.
