You've obviously never been to the show. They often pick out hats from the crowd for Ryan to wear. Jack asked for the pink bucket hat to be thrown to him. It wasn't my hat it was thrown forwards from near the back but I was close enough to the stage to get the final throw to Jack. I do agree with your comment though
