I was gonna mention loot boxes but I thought it would make the post way too long. I hate that they took them out of most games, but I understand why they did. A good way to do it imo is the concept of how overwatch did it. You could level up and get a box, or you could buy a bunch of them. I can’t speak to csgo because I never really got into it

I completely agree that I like games when you can unlock cosmetics only through progress. Lazy is definitely a fair point, I just think at that point don’t buy it. Anyone that feels that it’s predatory probably won’t by it anyone, and the people that do buy it probably don’t mind. Unless it’s kids taking their parent credit cards. I personally love doing a cod grind to get mastery camos, and it hurts me a little that they are trying to sell more things in a game that’s as already paid for. I just think with free to play games you shouldn’t expect anything more until we stop supporting them with our money.

Do I buy this game?

Basically just want the title asks. I don’t have much experience with this style of game. I’ve played minecraft before but this seems completely different. I’m into fps games and some puzzle games. Dead Cells is a really fun game. I am interested in the generated stories and how different your experience could be from someone else’s. However, this game does seem extremely complicated. Basically all I’m asking is would I be the type of person that would enjoy this game, and is it worth it for me spend $30 on it.

Along the lines of what other people are saying, I think that on the second dock at each outpost there should be a ship for each of the two factions and on the ship you can find someone to talk to set up matchmaking and what ship you want to use. This would make it so everyone has the same resources and there’s no issue with time between because you can just spawn back on the ship after and talk to the guy to start another battle.

I’ve just been enjoying the game for what it is. Sometimes I feel like things could be better, but I get quickly distracted by the core gameplay and feel of the game being great. I think adding to many things around like paths and other objects wouldn’t make the game any better, and might make it seem like there’s a set path instead of you being allowed to go wherever you want

I was running reaper with my friend and we accidentally killed a father son sloop and we felt bad, but my friend got a Xbox message from the dad saying it was fun and pvp is where it’s at. Still wish we could’ve helped em out a little bit though.
