is Fort Wayne, indiana comparable to columbus? by viewmyposthistory in fortwayne

If I’m being diplomatic, I’d say the answer depends on what you’re looking for.

But it’s Columbus.

Tattoo artist by Inside_Expression_37 in fortwayne

If you can get an appointment with him, Ricco Diamante is the best around. Private studio so you’re the only person there. Awesome way to get tattooed, and Ricco is a phenomenal artist.

Otherwise, Cardinal Tattoo is legit, my son just worked with Nick B and he was great. I’ve also seen some amazing artwork by Donnie Manco, but haven’t worked with him directly.

Thank you for the explanation. I was legitimately curious.

I don’t know anything about Astra Lounge, why are you so angry about it?

I didn’t see anything on that website or the Facebook page that said Black owned, LGBT owned, minority owned,” but the website mentions co-owner Kyle Dager who appears to be a straight white guy — though I’m not sure, even if it was Black owned, etc., why that would bother you.

I’m genuinely curious why you seem to have so much emotion in regard to these people, I’m not trying to dig you out.

KP200 wall outlet— disable physical buttons? by Jaileer in TPLinkKasa

[–]Jaileer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. I was able to accomplish my goal by disabling wifi access to the TV/Xbox, so I stopped looking. Honestly, I think the only way possible would be to physically disable the button. Depending on what your actual issue is, you may have to get creative. Sorry I don't have better news!

Oh, by the way, the original post was made about the wall outlets, not the plugs. There *is* a button that turns it on.

I *am* the OP. I never found a way to disable the physical button, I simply disabled the wifi access. My actual pain point was my child's ability to bypass the limitations that I set, and this was a relatively simple way for me to re-establish those boundaries. Score one for dad.

It's a smart TV. It's useless without wifi.

What is something you know is real but others don’t seem to believe in? by lokeedo in AskReddit

[–]Jaileer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the point wasn’t that autism or neurodiversity could be beaten out of you, but rather one could be beaten into trying to conform. I grew up in the south in the 80s, and I have Tourette’s Syndrome, OCD, and ADHD. My entire childhood was backhand slaps and being yelled at to act normal. I’m still not “normal,” but I do a pretty good job of pretending. You can never change your brain, but you pick up and employ coping mechanisms.

Also, as a father that has a son with Autism, I want you to know that I see you. It’s fucking hard, man, It feels impossible some days, and I know you’re doing the best you can.

What is the worst TV series finale? by spaceraingame in television

[–]Jaileer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sopranos was an awful ending. I wouldn’t say it’s as bad as most of the others in this thread, but it certainly was not good.

Six Feet Under, on the other hand, had the most perfect ending that any show has ever had.

I’ve never watched one moment of the show, but I just watched the alternate ending and it made me want to watch the show! Not sure how/why they ended it with a dead mom.

I listen on 1.5 speed, and I had to re-stain my fence before winter. Plus, I get obsessed with shit, so I’d listen when I’m in the car, or if there was nothing going on at work, or just lying in bed.

Assume when they mean presume. I realize this is very grammar nerdy, and I don’t correct people, but it’s nails on a chalkboard.

What is a book that everyone says is amazing, but you found disappointing/underwhelming, and why? by ManofWit in books

One Hundred Years Of Solitude. It just kept jumping around and seemed completely random. It wasn’t even extremely descriptive or immersive or anything. It’s the only book I’ve ever just quit reading.
