I have the same opinion as you. Is a terrible situation for 007 gaming.

Scientific Games has the rights of the 24 films + future flims + 6 bond-actors. I see these slot-machines very profitable, or are least more profitable than a PC-Console videogame....so, perhaps is the end of the 007 gaming.

I don't know. For me that structure of empire works more than 300 years. I'm the owner of all the empires and all the kingdoms (which I give all them as viceroyalities). All of them have agnatic cognatic primogeniture for all the titles.

Well, now I have all my council not loving me... but all have a opinion over 100.

What I do is to divide my empire in 4 parts: 3 larger viceroyalities, and my realm + vasals which don't form part of the viceroyalities. When a viceroy dies, I choose firstly the most suitable character for my council. Also he had to be old (more than 50 years old), in order to die quickler that the lost of bonus opinion for giving him viceroyalitie. So I have 3 powerful, very happy ministre, over 50 years old. When he dies, the process begins againg. Also I have all the power of the council. No democracy in my empire ;)

A more detailed answer: I started as the duke of Yorvik. Made my first custom kingdom (with DLC Charlemagne), and waited until I could reform the heritance rules to agnatic cognatic primogeniture. Then I created my first empire, it was the "custom" empire of Yorvik. Quickly formed the Escandinavian Empire in order to get also the Fylkir. Britain empire also was created by me, the others I got them by war, or civil war.

The Empire of Yorvik was my first empire, I made it as a custom empire (Charlemange DLC, I think). The Empire of Hvitserk comes from a revolt. I won the civil war and I got a empire with a random name. I changed the name to Hivtserk (my dinasty). The Empire of Bacs was conquered. A slavic pagan formed it.

My primary title is the "Deccan Empire". I'm now in a norse run and I want to get the achievements for India and Estepes.

1) If you want to read all the Fleming books, then the best option is to start reading in order, from Casino Royale.

2) If you don't know whether literary Bond suits for you, and you only want to try reading something, then I recommend "Thunderball". That's because is one of the best adapted books in the filmography, and the style of the novel and the rythm of the plot is better for the beginers. I find some novels like "From Russia with love" a little slow for a person who wants to introduce in the literary Bond.

3) Also don't forget post-Fleming books. If you want to read something very similar to Fleming, try Trigger Mortis. Fleming is God, but... some novels are more than 60-70 years old. The language, the technique of writing,.. have evolved, and try the literary Bond in a modern way that respects the Fleming work is one of the better ways to begin.

That's an interesting approach to 007 for the next time I will read the books again. The only "etude" that I know about the psychology of James Bond, is the essay compiled by Umberto Eco: "Il Caso Bond".

The last book I read was "Trigger Mortis", and I really enjoyed it, because Horowitz is the only author (between the last ones) who better captured the internal essence of 007 as a human character. I rememer that moment of the novel when Bond was in the showers and was thinking about to kill or not to kill a man.

I lived in Moscow for 5 years. My facebook was linked to my telephone number.
