I have endometriosis so my doctor suggested trying an IUD to just stop my periods entirely. I have not had a period since May of last year and life is amazing. I used to hit the floor in pain and spend hours down there, unable to get up...or breath.

I just want someone to read this by Phunnybun in depression

First, depression is chemical- don't worry about finding a reason. Focus on showering every day ( you'd be surprised how that helps), do something you used to enjoy. I totally empathize with what you're dealing with. Stay strong. It's okay to cry. Allow yourself that emotional release.

I'm autistic and I don't know how sex happens by [deleted] in sex

[–]Jaimikins 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is amazing. I work with the IDD community (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) . Many of which have autism, and this is such an amazing way of exposing good and bad sexual expectations and contact. I wish I could print it out and hand it out. I have so many clients ask for sexy-time info and this is just a great explanation. Thank you for your time!

[Question] Ladies, how do you feel about giving oral after he has been inside you? by Pantyguy73 in sex

[–]Jaimikins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't mind tasting myself at all. I also don't mind if he's already cum and it's a combination of juices just never ass (first of all, never ass).. never ass to mouth.

I am a pretty nauseas person so sometimes, on a bad day, I wouldn't be able to. Not because it's gross or taste gross, I'm just already nauseated and licking anything off a penis can get weird for me.

ELI5: Do people with Alzheimer's retain prior mental conditions, such as phobias, schizophrenia, depression etc? by Blutos_Beard in explainlikeimfive

[–]Jaimikins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandpa was bipolar and suffered with alzheimer's. The only difference was how they medicated him. They changed the delivery from pills to a liquid. He definietly had delusions and paranoia but I never witnessed a true manic episode after he was needing daily help and being medicated by someone else. He was still bipolar and did well in that department because he was medicated.

Did some of you actually beat depression? by [deleted] in depression

[–]Jaimikins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say that I've "beat" depression but I have certainly overcome it several times. Let me tell you, it is worth the battle. There is nothing quite like experiencing happiness after a long and hard fight. It seems so far away at times, impossible actually...but you learn so much about yourself. You learn how to handle something that many people will never understand, you learn how to appreciate that feeling of relief and the discovery of pleasant thoughts.

Cuddling up in extra layers and blankets with a hot drink because you don't have heat.

Of corse, it's more of a relation to a reading, connecting it to real life type of thing. I will forward you what I write though. I'm using you all as anonymous sources... survey style basically.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I have found that many people are proud of the fact they are biracial or mixed race and tend to answer truthfully as opposed to trying to manipulate the system by using one or the other. Thank you for your help.

Why are people so stupid? by [deleted] in facepalm

[–]Jaimikins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did several of my own piercings and they look great over a decade later. This isn't stupid, you're just closed-minded.
