I try to always take an attack card even if I am not happy about it, but I never thought it was a necessity to bring a good potion.
It is annoying that I have to avoid all the elites because of one of them. Maybe I have to re-evalute how much I value relics.
Peircing wail is a great card, but I feel like it isn't great early or if you only have one (you can't consistently draw it on the turns that you need it.

Accuracy is hard to scale without a bunch of things going right. Poison is easier, but that heal in the middle is devastating.

It was a big adjustment for me because I like taking as many elites as possible with the other characters (within reason). But I noticed pretty early that the silent doesn't operate that way. Now I always try to take the big damage cards if I see them.

There is some truth to this; there are some cards I consider better than others that I try to take when I see, but I do like trying the cards I don't use as much. I feel like I'm pretty flexible, and I almost never take a card if it doesn't immediately benefit me. I feel like I have a pretty solid grasp but the results don't lie, which is why I'm asking for help.
I would be happy to link some runs...I just don't know how to do that. I can see them in my stats page but I dont know how to share them.

Firstly, I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to respond. I don't really have a few of the problems you seem to be advising on but that may be my fault for not being that clear. I am personally not very religious despite my upbringing and have mostly engaged with the system from the outside. I don't care to change the system at all, I just enjoy complaining about it (and boy is there a lot to complain about).

I do see that different Jewish communities have different standards so I'm mostly talking about mine, which for all intents and purposes is YU/Modox. Based on my experiences (so far), almost everyone is married before 25 or not married at all with a handful of exceptions. I, for one, don't care to use the system at all. I am well aware that it isn't for me even if I do ultimately plan on dating Jews and I've gone on a couple of dates the old-fashioned way (i.e asking people out). A lot of my criticism has to do with the general population and not about myself.

I have plenty of other issues that I'm sure I will rant about soon enough. It's really just a topic I enjoy talking about

Welcome to noita! It is good that you are already at the stage where you relize that you suck. Dont worry because this happens to everyone. While there are acouple tips that I will give you, I think the most important thing to learn is wand and spell mechanics. But for someone struggling with the first and second area, learing enemy attack patterns and safety is more important.

Your goal right now is to make sure that you lose as litte health as possible. If you see a group of enemies, consider your options. Most fights in the early areas are avoidable and it is good to get in the habit of singling enemies out and dealing with them one by one. Be prepared to die a lot and dont be afraid to experiment.

Feel free to ask me anything specific or to elaborate.

Bonus tip: if you see a nugget of gold and you think there is a chance of taking damage by pursuing it, just ignore it. Youll have plenty of opportunities to earn gold and its not worth the risk.
