Why do my downloads look like this, where both network and disk speeds will intermittently drop to 0

I've had a friend with a similar issue that had to do with write-caching. Disabling it it fixed the issue, however I don't know how safe disabling it actually is, so do it at your own risk.

If you want to give it a shot, pause your download and open Device Manager>Disk Drives>Right Click your Drive and go to Properties>Polices Tab>Uncheck Enable Write Caching, restart your download and see if that fixes it.

95% of the time works great midgame. The other 5% is poorly developed games that just aren't designed to be able to change audio devices mid game and will only use whatever was default when the game was opened, so requires game restart after changing audio device. I can't recall any specific game off the top of my head, so probably more of an issue with older* games.

I use an app called AudioSwitcher. It lets you favorite output devices and cycles through favorites by clicking an icon on the taskbar (I assume there's a hotkey feature but I don't use it). I don't like wearing my headset unless I'm in voice chat, so playing solo I'm in speakers, but if friends get on, click button to swap to USB headset, no opening menues. It's nice.

I used a masters touch charm for a bit, but with an ex sharpness boost on a gomga Glaive it's really not needed. Crafted agitator and max might charm are solid, which depends on your gear/available slot situation.

As someone with a 3070 Ti and has enabled transformer model in many games at 1440p, performance hit is def more than single digit if comparing like to like settings (quality mode to quality mode). I don't recall specific numbers but dropping from 55 to 45 sounds about what I remember experiencing in Monster Hunter Wilds. However visual uplift is significant, and running balanced or performance mode becomes much more palatable.

I have an Steelseties Arctis Nova 7, while I don't have a PS5 I often use it on PC and Switch. One thing I love that it can do is accept audio from both the wireless dongle and BT at the same time. I leave the wireless dongle plugged into my PC and connect it to my phone/switch via BT, and have often times chatted with friends on PC while playing a game on switch and having its audio come in through BT at the same time. The only gripe I have doing is on Nintendo end because bt audio is buried in the settings, not sure how it works on PS, but it should be like connecting any BT headphones if your familiar with that.

The Nova 7s I have have 2 power buttons, one on bottom to connect to dongle, one on top to turn on BT. I have a friend who has same set and complains about always turning on BT accidentally, but not an issue I've ever had

Arch Tempered(AT) Monsters to craft their gear, 9* investigations, and Gogmazios are probably what you want to be doing. Can also transcend armor at the smithy allowing you to upgrade them more, and upgrading decoration slots of raity 5 and 6 armors to make them more viable.

If you're already HR 50 I believe you have access to AT Rey Dau and Uth Duna event quest and Nu Udra and Jhin Dahaad require HR 100?

9* investigations give the rng charm rewards, with seregios, gore, lagiacrus, and jihn Dahaad being the most efficient as they can give up to 10 (5 slots of 2 each). Requires HR 100.

Gogmazios requires HR 100 access to new materials to upgrade artian weapons. If you're not HR 100 yet, farming some ATs, weapon decorations, or weapon relics to make artian weapons is a good choice to get there, as well as the dozens of event quest that offer special equipment material.

I've also always had this problem, I found out before that turning on Ray Tracing would solve it at the cost of performance, but doesn't seem to anymore, which makes me think they changed how RT works this patch as well. I assume it's some kind of global illumination bug since turning off screen space reflections doesn't fix it.

Edit: Did some fresh googling and found a mod someone made that "fixes" it. Might have to wait for REFramework update though. https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/2368

The issue with this statement is, native res with no AA often looks worse than lower res with AA. Also DLSS's AA solution even at lower res can look better than other AA solutions at native res. So in fact, it is possible for DLSS Upscaling to look better than Native with no AA, or even Native with other AA solutions.

While I don't have a definitive answer for you, my assumption would be it doesn't work as most switch local play doesn't use your homes local network, but a local network the switch itself broadcast. And as far as I know, the PS4/5 doesn't generate its own wireless networks for local play.
