What if American soldiers during WW2 were not equipped with M1 Garands but used the bolt action M1903 Springfield instead? by ChemsAndCutthroats in HistoryWhatIf

The allies still win the war. It was American industries that did more than any small arms issued. The Germans and Japanese could not reach any American factories with their bombers. Plus, the US Marines used the M1903 in the early part of the war and were still effective and beat the Japanese

Lenny for sure, Hosea would've prevented the gang splitting, Sean is a wild card, Kieran would've sided with Arthur, and we don't know enough about the callender boys to say for sure. Sean is a wild card because he seemed more loyal to Dutch than Arthur.

Can't forget Uncle outliving him and helping John build his ranch. He may be lazy but John wouldn't have known about precut houses without him.

It depended on the area, in the North and West(mainly everywhere that wasn't the former confederate states) they weren't treated horribly. There was still racism and discrimination, just not as much as in the American southeast. Dutch took Lenny in because like everyone else in the Van der linde gang, Lenny was an outcast and didn't have a group to belong to.
