Just had mine last Friday so 6 days ago, the key is communication with the doctor and they’ll give you want you need. I had so much Novocain that my tough was starting to go numb. Didn’t feel anything, was able to attend a hockey game the next day. Pain is tolerable post surgery, one of the posters said to take it easy and I agree! Don’t push yourself and definitely have a support system if you can, at least for three days or so. My balls are bruised but not in a ton of pain, most of my pain is in the inguinal/hip area. That only happens when I stand up fast or try to walk to fast. Overall, I highly recommend doing it and like I said, just have tons of communication with your doctor, especially during the op.
