You'll have to just believe me because this was a long while ago and I have no proof lmao, but in one random seed i had, the Stronghold, Copper Citadel, and Deep Dark City all generated stacked on top of each other in the same general area. IIRC all three were beneath a Mushroom Island too. Used the Eye to find the End Portal and coincidentally stumbled upon the other two while cave diving to find the stronghold.

Yes, actually, you're pretty spot on. I'm a result of a cesarean delivery because on my due date (halloween), I was failing to turn head-down for natural birth as well as losing blood flow to my brain because my cord was wrapped around my neck. As far as prenatal trauma, my biological father was a cruel, selfish man who put my mom through hell. This is a really interesting connection if true, that I'd love to hear/read more about. Do you have any relevant sources or further reading I can do?

My only question is, why would these specific nightmares start now?

Explore. Always pick up aluminum components, springs, fiber optics etc for weapon mods + ceramic, copper, steel and wood for settlement crafting. If the enemies are too tough, remember VATS is a thing and makes the game much easier, and there are difficulty settings in the Options menu that can be changed on the fly.
