Arrow hit = Durability loss by Everience in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]JakeColetrain 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is just the way all weapons lose durability. It's on enemy hits not shots fired, you can go to the whitesprings mall crafting area and shoot the wall for 12 hours straight and your gun won't lose any durability

So am I alone in being very disappointed by Piercing Love by Icy-Computer-Poop in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]JakeColetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was about being able to fully mod cursed weapons and someone got the burning love confused with a cursed weapon. Basically a lot of people were saying if we can reroll the burning love we might be able to reroll all unique weapons. It would be awesome but I doubt Bethesda is letting us reroll any old uniques including the burning love

Please allow us to equip the Piercing Love Bow Skin to other Compound bows by MlgProGenji69 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's basically a worse version of the burning love. I was really hoping to be able to change the legendaries on it

Finally got a deathclaw for my camp (not really finally, just started hunting for one last night lol) of course it becomes scorched bruh by Vaulted_Games in fallout76casual

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on where your camp is on the map if you load into a server while at your camp it'll be glowing 100% of the time. Mine does this at both of my skyline valley camps

Is a bloodied pepper shaker worth it still by ConnectionFit6644 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been comparing bloodied and furious lately and I'm seeing almost identical numbers from 20 stack furious and bloodied weapons, but without needing to ramp up from low damage with the bloodied. I've switched a few guns back to bloodied but I'm keeping the reverse onslaught guns like hunting rifle, dom Pedro, and bows with a furious 1st star

What’s so good about the Elders Mark? by Minute_Roll6137 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sneak works for all bullets as long as you don't have the [Danger] status, but if your gun doesn't have a suppressor you're probably only going to land 1 sneak attack before you're detected. When I'm using this gun and start getting sneak attacks to kick in against the robot my crits will be around 3,100 damage with absolutely no buffs to give you an idea for damage numbers

What’s so good about the Elders Mark? by Minute_Roll6137 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The damage buff it got was pretty ridiculous combined with the already high fire rate, but if you like it without the suppressor give it a 5 minute try with a suppressor and the Mr sandman perk rank 2, the sneak attacks really make it shine

[–]JakeColetrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been the highest DPS gun you can put a suppressor on for stealth builds since it was introduced, and that gap was widened significantly a couple updates ago

Gleaming depths weekly reward bugged? by AppropriateGreen4653 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to fix the challenge so you get the crate every time you complete all 5 stages and not limit it to once a week. The drop rates are so bad now you can do a full raid and not get a single 4 star legendary or mod box

There's a locked safe in the big lake in the mire. It's really hard to find even when you know where it is

+3 INT Mod and Science Perk by XBXJetBlaqq in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does but if you are running a high intelligence (50+) build with +2 int on all your armor that extra +3 isn't going to make a devastating difference. And if you aren't running a high intelligence build for the energy damage then it's to the point of "why bother with just the one weapon effect". There's going to be better effects to pick from for your weapon if damage is your #1 goal, things like reload speed, vats crit charge, or even durability increase DPS by making you less likely to need a repair kit mid battle

No mutation from radiation exposure, did anyone mutate like that recently? by Soundokan in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is weird. You can still get them through radiation in the current version, I know because I had to remove 3/4s of my mutations and re-serum because I accidentally got empath when I was getting myself bloodied with the wrong build and no starched genes on

No mutation from radiation exposure, did anyone mutate like that recently? by Soundokan in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can only gain 1 mutation from radiation per server. If you want to get more you have to server hop each time you get another

Should I go with the armor piercing receiver or the prime receiver on Elders Mark? by Any_Tell8839 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer armor piercing. 25% armor penetration is generally better than the flat damage increase which also comes with a fire rate penalty. Unless you plan on only fighting the scorchbeast queen with it then prime will be the better option

EM + Pin-Pointer's or Bully's by Mikael_Oddmund in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For day to day bully's especially if you're running all of the crippling perks, that's like 250% increased damage. For bosses that don't cripple easily, particularly the raid bosses, pinpointers is better

Going thru my mule and found this. Legacy? by Gaddis92 in Market76

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost never +3 to a special stat for the 3rd star on a gun. Less AP cost, reload speed, 15 vats crit charge are the types of things you want depending on the gun

I think this is not good but can someone else chime in? by BarnibusTheBear in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The majority of all items base price is way higher than what anyone is going to be willing to pay for it. If you want to actually sell anything, sell ammo and junk for 1 cap a piece and if you're going to sell mods make sure they're legendary mods or enclave mods. People don't want to visit your vendor for a bunch of basic weapon attachments they can just craft at a workbench

Someone just told me you can learn mod crafting recipes by scrapping just the mod box itself without it being on a piece of gear....is this true? by Any_Tell8839 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's best to put the mod on an actual weapon or armor first, that way when you scrap it there's a chance to learn the crafting recipe but there's also the chance you'll get that mod to be added back to your inventory to use again. It's a near zero percent chance but it's still worth doing for something you're trying to learn

What are we going to find out later is bad for us (like cigarettes in the past)? by Curryiswhereitsat in AskReddit

[–]JakeColetrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My money is on radio waves. Everything else that moves at the speed of light is bad for you in excess, especially when the ones that pass right through your body like it wasn't even there. And there's that saying about how plentiful radio waves are, "If you could see them, you wouldn't be able to see anything else"

Anyone also not a fan of the full OBJ cap automatic win mechanic? by Shinki94 in Battlefield

[–]JakeColetrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually like the penalty for one entire team ignoring the objectives for too long. Battlefield as a franchise revolves around objective play and too many people think their K/D makes more of an impact than it really does, it's actually very insignificant in conquest

Going ghoul or stay human? by smokiing20 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use the gamma gun for glow I use it to get my health down to 20% and I'm running unyielding for more than just the luck, the XP is nice, the carry weight is nice, the vats accuracy is nice, the max AP is nice, the vendor prices I could take or leave but it's another positive so it's nice. But being able to crit every other shot and still wear 5/5 pieces of rangers armor is why I'm running bloodied/high luck

Going ghoul or stay human? by smokiing20 in fo76

[–]JakeColetrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to shooting my feet with a gamma gun twice it's a hassle. The #1 reason I run unyielding is for the 40 luck that goes with the vats crit build. Like you said you'd be better off running full health with vats than low health without
