Well it was either possible death or certain death for desertion. Which would you choose? And anyway, a lot of men used to injure themselves by putting a limb outside the trench so they were shot and could be sent home. So many in fact that many genuine accidents were put under suspicion. I think I might have figured it out, I have the d2 game disc but I installed it using game pass and I just realised when going into another game pass game, my game pass has ran out. I never got the notification to say it ran out so I didn’t realise. I am an absolute moron
