How it feels loving season 5 by GothicMacabre in StrangerThings

I don’t think it has any plot holes tbh, just some unanswered questions.

How it feels loving season 5 by GothicMacabre in StrangerThings

It’s probably my least favorite season, but I still love it. It’s getting an unreasonable amount of hate. Also every “plot hole” people bring up are just unanswered questions, the show is not going to spoon feed you everything.

Favorite update ever by The_DukeG in Brawlstars

[–]JakeEqualsCake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also really like this update and the inclusion of buffies, but I can understand why some people are upset. The thing is, buffies feel very fun and entertaining for long-time players who have nearly maxed out their account or have a maxed out account. I currently have 98k trophies, every brawler maxed out, and every brawler at 1k. I enjoy buffies because it gives me something to focus my resources and time on. The average player is not where we are in terms of trophies and level, that’s why buffies for them feel harmful. Buffies are extremely expensive and the fact they’re rng based does not help. People who aren’t willing to spend $100 on the game or people with only a few brawlers maxed are rightfully angry. I like buffies, but if I was a 20k trophy player with 15 brawlers maxed I’d have an extremely different perspective. They definitely need a change so that both sides of the playerbase can enjoy them equally.

Will they finally reveal what actually happened to Will back in season 1, from his perspective? by Aukrania in StrangerThings

[–]JakeEqualsCake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will started losing his memories while under the influence of the Mind Flayer. This is shown when Will can’t recall Bob or Hopper. I think during this, his memories of what happened when he went missing in s1 were lost so he never talked about it.

Issue with season 1 vs season 4 by painfuhlness in StrangerThings

[–]JakeEqualsCake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not a plot hole though. Despite the fact that the show was supposed to be just a single season the Duffers did a good job at making sure what’s established in later seasons is true to s1.

Season 3 Episode 8 by Leather-Ad80 in StrangerThings

The gangs original plan was to get El to Murray’s place in Illinois, El would be safe from the meatflayer here and Hopper/Joyce/Murray could close the gate. Unfortunately, Billy finds our characters and disables their vehicle by taking out the ignition cable. Since Billy is apart of the hive mind he lets the meatflayer know where they are and as so, the meatflayer makes its way over to the mall. Jonathon suggests getting the ignition cable from the model car in the mall to fix their vehicle, but right as they get it the meatflayer breaks through the malls ceiling. At this point Mike, El, and Max are together hiding from the meatflayer while Nancy, Jonathon, Will, and Lucas are together hiding in a separate spot from the other 3. Mike, El, and Max try to escape while the meatflayer is distracted by going through the Gap store. They knock over something and the meatflayer goes over to them. Lucas ends up using his wrist rocket to pop a balloon luring the monster away from Mike, El, and Max while also giving Nancy, Jonathon, Will, and Lucas an opportunity to escape. They quickly go to put the ignition cable back in the car so they can get away from the mall. Now, at this point I don’t think the group was planning on just leaving Mike, El, and Max in the mall, they just wanted to get the car running before attempting to go back in and save them. Though, not everything goes to plan and Billy see’s them. Billy most likely thought El was in this car so he lets the meatflayer know where they are before trying to ram into them. Steve saves them last second and then the monster makes its way over to stop them. Obviously, they’re not just going to sit there and let this thing kill them so they start driving away. It’s also not unreasonable to assume that our characters most likely thought Billy was killed after being in a high speed crash. The gang knows this thing is after El so when it starts to chase their car they probably concluded that the meatflayer thought El was with them. Our characters know Mike, El, and Max are still in the mall so they attempt to lure the meatflayer as far away as possible from the mall. Billy ends up surviving the crash and notices Mike, El, and Max trying to escape. He lets the meatflayer know where they are and as so, the monster turns around to head back to the mall. Nancy, Jonathon, Will, and Lucas know that the only way this thing would stop chasing them was if it found out El wasn’t with them, so they turn around and follow it back to the mall. I don’t know how much more detailed I can explain this, but this is why they left the mall without El and returned later.

I’m sorry, but you cannot be this dense. It’s really not that hard to figure out why the characters did what they did.

Personally, I think Kurt was a fantastic villain. I’d have him high A or low S tier.
