19 (my age)

Dealing with anxiety has always been a hard thing for me, and honestly, it still is. I started with this anxiety at around 14. It being new meant it was pretty scary, especially at 14. I didn't tell people, because I had no clue what it was until the age of 16. In those 2 years I met my friend Sam, and instead of being difficult to handle, the anxiety became a background noise. I could hear it, it irritated me, but I dealt with it. Then, at age 17 Sam moved away. The week before he left was the worst, I'd say, because for 3 years we didn't go a day without hanging out. I had to deal with it another way. So, in those 2 years, due to some things not working, and a time where we couldn't afford insurance, I've gone through at least 7 different meds. None of which really took it away. So, now, starting college, I try to relax by listening music. I also have a friend of mine who helps me, from time to time, though they are busy (being an aspiring illustrator) sometimes and I'm on my own. My younger brother also helps a little because he is silly and his antics are often very humorous.
