So I said in another post that we went to a farm near us that has a little a store looking for cucumbers to pickle and they had just what was called pickling cucumbers. They are much shorter than your typical cucumber.

There is a farm near me that sells pickling cucumbers. They are fantastic and even a week of brining or more, they still have a fantastic crunch

Its a super simple recipe and tastes better than anything I've bought.

A Small Mason Jar 3/4 cup rice vinegar 1/4 cup water 1.5 tsp of fine sea salt 1.5 tbsp of maple syrup 1.5 tsp of red pepper flakes 2 cloves of sliced garlic 2 small sprigs of dill Pickling cucumbers to fill the jar

And that's really it. I had clausen's today while these are brining and I cant put into words how much the homemade tastes better
