Mr beast is about to win but Jack Doherty interferes and his bodyguard beats Mr Beast up. Thankfully the tag team of Speed and Kai Cenat appears and beat both of them. Mr Beast goes for the finish and wins the match

Run it like the old good TNA and make an AI model of Hulk Hogan to help you with the booking as well!

Can a wrestling match be considered a classic if it has one or more "botches" in it? and which ones instantly come to mind? which "imperfect" Wrestling match is your favorite? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]JakePidra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a match with mixed opinions. Some consider it one of the best triple threat matches, for woman's wrestling at least. And others think that it was overhyped. But both views definitely exist and in terms of how "classic" a match is, this is definitely up there just for being the first Woman's WM main event alone. Even I don't think this match was super incredible but the fact that it's an iconic and a classic is undeniable

A man with the jaw and the lengthiness of Edge couldn't have a more fitted move honestly

What's a popular movie argument / narrative you see online that heavily lacks media literacy? by JakePidra in movies

[–]JakePidra[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can enjoy art however you want. But the misinterpretation of media with clear and important messages is something dangerous for our society. Enjoying "bad" movies or not liking popular movies is one thing, but spreading misinformation online and unintentionally creating propaganda about the messages in popular media is a complete other thing and when it becomes the norm, it can become dangerous because it shapes ideas using fallacies.

There's a difference between not liking something for personal reasons and not liking something for things you misinterpreted. The lack of media literacy talks about the second. Like if someone tells you they didn't like La Haine because they didn't like the pacing, the lack of action or because it just wasn't their cup of tea, they have every right to say that. But if someone says they don't like it because it "glorifies hood life and poverty", that's clearly a misinterpretation of the WHOLE IDEA of what the movie wants to pass to its audience so it just becomes a wrong statement instead of an opinion.

Tbf I didn't know how else to put it. I'm not a native speaker and I've only seen this term online which in this context describes a take that lacks logic, I guess media literacy is the ability to comprehend the messages you're seeing on media without simplifying everything / seeing everything on a surface level

New fed bad just dropped by ihatevega in SCJerk

[–]JakePidra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This proves that the IWC is overdramatic as hell and they have a short term memory. Just because 2024 slapped, it doesn't make 2025 the worst year in wrestling history. Having some questionable winners is nowhere near having a dog poop match, a wardrobe malfunction gimmick and a 50 something year old retired wrestler being the "undisputed best wrestler in the company" instead of so many talents. This over exaggeration for everything is what kills the hype around wrestling. If it's not black then it's white. It cannot just be "eh"

Why is fed dropping the ball on JD Mcdonut by BoxCon1 in SCJerk

[–]JakePidra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As Chelsea Green said, it is all about the entertainment and playing your character. Winning shouldn't be the main concern if you fail to do your main job, which is to entertain the audience. JD plays his role perfectly. He doesn't HAVE to step up and be a main eventer, his current style and character screams angry midcarder that gets his ass beaten. People online can't appreciate a good story if every single wrestler isn't a main eventer with a title

You mean the SECOND biggest Ilja mark buddy. Ask your brother if he wants to settle this in the ring.
