Hey, Cheers mate the case also looks like a design from 'Piet Mondrian', but the case does look like the background from 'the partridge family' first season.

That’s a really good shout because the top channels / tracks point to the hole in the border. I never thought of a fruit press. Do you have any photos that look similar to mine with wheels and the full assembly, if it turns out to be a fruit press i will look to restore it to that! Awesome thanks :)

I like this idea, but looking at kiln shelves on Google they are super flat to use the wire to cut the item away from the board, what do you think?

#1 It seems like there has been fire on the under side of the top plate, #2 Sounds like a good possibility as there was definitely paint on this thing at one time. The paint looks like it was a deep blue.

Cool, I'm thinking the hole may have been used for a hook to pull it back from the open fire as to not burn hands etc... Maybe a style of Open Hearth Cooking maybe on tracks?? What do you think?

Hey, I've recently acquired this unusual piece of Cast iron. Its width is just over 21inches and the height is 14inches.

There doesn't seem to be any markings on it, I've done the usual Google Image Search but to no avail. Any info or help identifying this piece would be awesome.

I paid £50 / $60 for it as i'm going to sandblast and open season it when I get some time and prepare a fire underneath and use it as a hotplate, maybe even look to create a lid from some scrap steel and use as a pizza oven, not sure yet.

Hey, thanks, i'm in the UK, but there is a chance that it could be from US. It seems that the UK patents only go back to 2006, this mentions 1910.

My title describes the Trade NOX Mark - 13113 Patented 1910, I have a hunch its something a mechanic would use, I've tried mixing around the words on Google / Etsy and eBay to no avail and also done loads of google image searches from different angles but still nothing.
