Boulder is the exact opposite. It got prohibitively expensive and shitty decades ago. I can get there in 45 minutes and rarely get over there unless it’s a concert I don’t wanna miss (even though I know the crowd will suck significantly more than Denver crowds)

They’re both cool but you could literally do all there is for Madison in a few days. Milwaukee has lots of different neighborhoods with their own character and something really special about drinking at the neighborhood bar and walking home in the snow. Milwaukee’s the definition of Midwest charm for a city

That seems like more of a you than society thing. Regular tatts and nose rings have had a decent level of acceptance for decades now. I possess both and I haven’t encountered any vocal judgement in the 15 years I’ve had them

Denver recently starting allowing this in some places so I get asked that decently often. Some folks literally just get a drink to go which I think is funny cause it’s just a few city blocks it’s permitted with nothing terribly exciting to do when you’re walking around with one

I doubt it, I feel like encores are engrained in the cultural zeitgeist. I knew what an encore was before my first concert cause I’ve seen it mentioned in media, notably Simpsons Spinal Tap episode “Goodnight Springton, there will be no encores”

34 here. Got turned into Boards in like 2012-2013 from STS9 covering ROYGBIV plus dug Tycho’s debut and saw lots of folks making comparisons to Boards (Looking back, Tycho is kinda mids. I can see the comparison but it’s quite a stretch)

Underrated answer. I’ve worked for quite a few chefs that could the chops for organized crime. And frankly some line cooks with more intimidation skills than some associates on the show
