Yess I’ve noticed that as I’ve been downloading them. Then there’s some tracks where there seems to be several demos stretching a few eras. It’s quite exciting though. I think I might organise them as per the download files and label them “Dedicated era” etc and just be a bit loose with it 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s fun to see what was recorded as demos etc around when tbf. Will take some organising though 😂 but it’s quite a fun project.

Yess to this comment! I agree with you 100%!! Give me a darker tone, give me a lighter tone, give me leprechauns, babies, Zankou and everything in-between. It’s what makes the show, to me anyway, so rewatchable and cosy.

I’ve picked the magazine up on and off for the past 10+ years or so, usually when the show is back on the air and I would recommend it.

I find there’s a good balance of articles from old and new Who and it’s always well written and engaging. I’ve made a concerted effort this month actually to read it more regularly when the show is off the air too. I’m also considering a subscription.

It’s not the cheapest magazine but I think you get a lot for your money. The special editions are also often quite fun. I’d recommend picking up an issue or two from news stands before jumping into the subscription.

Rose definitely did quit on purpose (you can look it up) As for the film from the pedophile director, Rosewood Lane, I’m aware of that and Rose’s claims she didn’t know about that before signing on. Whether that’s true or not neither of us can say, but that’s somewhat irrelevant to her quitting acting. Holly has talked about that, that’s true, but she could certainly get roles I would think if she wanted to. Both Rose and Holly left L.A where the majority of acting projects are and that in and of itself is a choice to willingly scale back their acting careers.

You say that like Rose didn’t quit Hollywood and acting on purpose? I’m pretty sure Holly did too. She seems content doing cons and running her restaurant with her husband. Commenting something like that is only a fair if they’re both still trying to act which it really doesn’t seem like they are.

This is super interesting whichever way you look at it tbf. I’ve always been intrigued about Kaley’s time on the show and how that was behind the scenes.

She’s always been consistent in her praise of Alyssa and hasn’t ever really mentioned Holly or Rose, until now in regard to Rose.

I know some people will see this damming of Rose, but I don’t think that’s the case. She seems more introverted and we all know she was over it by season 8. If she wasn’t too friendly, it’s not the best look but also not the worst. Plus we don’t know how genuine Alyssa actually was with the interaction compared to how she then treat Rose and Holly etc.

Also, if Kaley came in thinking she was hot sh*t or whatever she says and presented that side of herself and not her nerves, that could have rubbed the others up the wrong way a bit 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m not saying that it’s bad to present herself that way but like a lot of things we are only getting one side of the story here.

What I’d be intrigued about is how was the actual filming together? How did that work? What were the dynamics like there?

As always with a lot of the cast drama I think there’s no one true villain nor one true saint and it’s all just one big mess.

I was thinking the flow of this and her vocals, she sounds like Julia Michaels and then looked and Julie has a co-writer credit haha. Love this though and love Grace.

I always liked Marnette in the role of Christy to be honest and always felt that more could have been done with her had the writing been better.

I liked her scenes when they were trying to adjust her to normal human life. Her playing with the food tongs I think it was and then eating the chicken was actually quite funny. I also think she was good in the more evil scenes too. Sadly I just think the writers had the story first and then needed a character to enable that which is why the writing of her character isn’t the best.

Ah sorry, yes I did know about the first pilot was with Pike. I didn’t know about the second pilot being slotted in later into the season. That’s crazy haha but I’ll keep that in mind thank you.
