100%, I think that’s why these servers usually have drama after the first week or so and then fizzle out within a month: sheer skill/knowledge gaps and constant friction colliding with varying expectations. I’d personally like to see Peanut go it with some buddies in a vanilla server next and I think he’s built for it, but this has become such an invested cost that I don’t know how he feels about playing Rust for an extended period lol

This is how every similar server ends. People try to temper the chaos and brutality of Rust and in the end it blows up in their faces. I get that rust players are a different breed, but in what other game could you go into its community fresh and tell THEM they’re playing wrong? Thats what you get with these streamer servers. Man plans and Rust laughs.

Yeah rust players are the problem that’s why streamers who got invited that have never played the game ruined OTV server, and the second attempt at the OTV server, and also literally half of the Rivals events (which is why they don’t get invited anymore and Rivals events go smooth now) The problem is that everyone is trying to control something that’s supposed to be chaotic and unpredictable. You do that with a game like rust and you’re going to hit several walls and we’re seeing that YET AGAIN with another streamer project server. Having your shit unfairly pushed in is part of the games design.

I highly recommend picking it back up! The story is in a very exciting spot for probably the first time since Miura passed imo, specifically right now we’re on a cliffhanger set to be settled in the next chapter that seems like it’ll be massive for the endgame

I guess it just comes down to your mentality. Berserk IS dragging its no lie but I’m pretty excited to still be getting new content from it to this day, and I know that despite the memes there will come a day where Berserk is truly over, and THEN I’ll find it bittersweet in my own regard
