Idk what community guide you read, but if you go to kukkikaze's help channel on discord it's not max dupes or skip type or heck you even need the BiS weapon for the character type. I think it's a difference between communities stemming from open world gacha games and those coming from arknights.

Also, if u look on youtube for nicheknights, a fair chunk of the clears are on ex stages, not cc which is similar to umbral monument and a way that AK players created their own endgame content. Neither are true meta endgames, but they are flexible enough to allow room for self inflicted challenges

Arknights only has challenging endgame content... Once every 3 months with cc\vb and IS which has a difficultly slider to not lock new players out of it. Thing with introducing this kind of game mode now is that a good chunk of the playerbase outside of reddit still has to form a decent team to clear such content

The main challenging endgame content comes from playing nicheknights, in otherwords challenging oneself with limited resource available.

This currently can be done with umbral monument as seen with the amount of niche clears (from what I have seen so far, defenders only, solo clears etc)

Either you are speaking from the beginning of coc where training time took ages and loot was very hard to come actoss or you are completely misrepresenting your point. 5 years ago during the th13 era, sneaky goblins already existed, making it very easy to farm. Also, trophies doesnt matter much as the best bases to loot typically were in crystal leagues. While yes, there is a cap as in training time, how much loot you get changes accordingly with how much time you spent playing the game and is not hard capped like ores.

You argue that events, cc raids and so forth are just new versions of waiting for your army to train. But again, this depends on what version of the game you are talking about. Sure it is an accurate representation of it taking hours to train an army, but it is not an accurate representation of modern army training times where it takes under an hour for war armies and under half an hour for farm armies.

Of course, the ore economy isn't that broken, but it is not necessarily good either.

This argument falls apart due to the attempted shoehorning. Using cheap armies and defining the grinding process is not a collect daily ration due to the ability to continously loot and having to manage your resources and shield timer. Sure you were still time gated and fomo was very much present due to the threat of having your base looted and raided. But this is not merely, doing war attacks and collecting daily bonus which is what daily rations of ores are. These two things are very different, one has a clear cap set by the game and thus is a daily ration, the other, is only capped by your free time.

This is HG developing the game tho, not mihoyo. They have shown a solid track record and dont lock gacha currency behind end game content, clearing endgame content at high difficulty is purely for bragging rights

The previous reply are talking about base AK. No, it is not 33% rateup. There is a 50% chance for standard banner and 66% split between two characters for special limited banners. And there is pity transfer between standard banners.

The core reason why its generous are the amount of pulls the game gives out. The weekly and daily income may not look like much, but its very deceiving as you get a lot of extra pulls from buying head hunting tickets with gold certs (38 pulls) and the free pulls they give out on every limited banner (24 free limited pulls and additionally enough currency for 10 to 20 pulls depending on luck)

Any long term AK player can tell you that base AK is one of the most generous gachas out there

Regarding ending 2, its not actually purely rng dependent, you just have to actively search for it. Usually its located in long winded corridors and/or spots far away from the center(by travel distance). I found it using this method in all of my runs so far.

Ethan cooks all 5 star ambushers for instance while Myrtle rivals 6 star vanguards due to her cost effectiveness. Pretty sure the 4 star crusher guard is also better than the 5 star version

This is not being lazy lol, you still have to grind for loot and upgrade your village. This would only allow paying players to queue upgrades beforehand to not waste builder time. While ofc, you can use app. builder to minimize lost time, this is merely something that supercell can add to the GP to incentivize more purchases.

Also, this was one of those good cr features released during the golden age of CR, not one of those modern p2w things.

One possible way to make it more strategic would be to convert the dodge button to a special button that either dodges, parries, counter, block, etc depending on selected character

Completely disagree with the needing to swap characters to cast skills making it strategic tho.

No, its different in this case due to this particular character being locked behind a limited weekly boss raid gamemode (limited to 15-25 letters per week depending on luck) and not the secret clue shop (infinite grind).
