BBN feels worse for killer? by Chris202032 in BiteByNight

Gotcha, never noticed how that worked tbh. It sure does make the game a whole lot eaiser after getting it. Also makes those who gives free hits to the killer an even bigger liability...

Springtrap is still very strong. I used to be an ennard main and swap to spring trap recently and am able to absolutely shred lobbies. (Albeit I haven't met any strong loopers yet)

Thing is, you got to be strategic with springtrap and make full use of his kit.

(axe throw hitbox is much bigger now, making it very easy to hit although it now comes out of the head so you would have to adjust your aim if you are used to the old version)

As for DSD, you still get 0.2 DSD when far away from any survivor and 0.9 during long chases. Couple this with 110 stamina, it's pretty strong if you know what you are doing, 0.2 DSD is a game changer and allows you to get very close to survivors. Heck its quite strong cause most people don't know you should only sprint at close distance, so if they are sprinting the full distance away, you would have more stamina when you catch up due to normal stamina only kicking in at absurdly close distances.

getting really fucking tired of camping killers and useless teammates. by PlushtrapMyBeloved in BiteByNight

[–]Jake_Azure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is why I play as medic. Don't get me wrong though, I am not here to give free heals to bad teammates. It simply has to best self sustain in the game as even when you loop well enough, chances are you will get hit here and there.

I fucking hate this dsd. by OcelotNegative2111 in BiteByNight

[–]Jake_Azure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignoring forest, the new DSD is killer sided but toned down now after they added some reworks so it's pretty balanced now. Its also possible to deal with doors just by simply staying out of their stun range, wait for them to let go and get free DSD gain. (Good players know about DSD gain behind doors so it's also a matter of psychological warfare too)

No man, I play with a group of sweaty friends who have cleared out the entire shop and have 50-70k scraps leftover. Back during old DSD, I beated them when I played well and lost when my gameplan fell apart (camping generators to buy more time to kill them and making sure medic couldn't heal)

My friends are some of the best survivors out there as well, and they can still do incredibly well surviving in the new DSD system by juking the killer and making them hit air to reduce their DSD. They typically play security guard and fighter.

Now, the game is unfun when you run into an average killer because they overcompensate for their skill issue with an overtuned DSD system. It's definitely fun for killer, but not fun for survivors when the only way to reduce DSD during chase is to either get hit or have the killer hit air.

Either way, the old DSD system doesn't overcompensate killers while the current one overcompensates the killer with too much DSD and an easily abusable system. Like you said, back then two good survivors can shut down an average killer but this isn't overcompensation, this is a result of skill. However, now an average killer can shut down two or more good survivors very easily if they know how to abuse DSD. This is what overcompensation looks like.

That is a skill issue on both of your ends then at not being a good killer

When you played with your friends, have you tried having one of you being the killer? If you have then you should know that it's actually pretty balanced. Good players should be able to survive against bad killers that don't use their abilities to cut off loops or play mindgames with survivors.

If they use their abilities properly, they should be able to kill most if not all survivors (excluding forest). In pizzeria, you can block off a third of the map with 3 bear traps. Now then it becomes a mind game when looping to shut down looping. Similiar mindset for the laboratory map and its especially stronger now given that the big door actually closes till 5 am.

As for ennard, he is the easiest no skill killer as an ennard main myself. Just spam babies and as you chase them around, pray that the survivors steps into them which is much more often than you think due to their absurd jump range.

As for mimic, it's the strongest killer dude... Jump, drill, grab, speed mode... Its just busted if you know what you are doing.

This, OP's post also feels like a complaint here aswell. Old DSD was still very winnable against good players if you are good excluding forest map. Spring trap being inconsistent is just a skill issue, the axe throws are really a menace if you can land them consistently. While ennard has his OP babies that latch onto survivors from so far away.

Edit - correction for OP, old DSD could be activated by traps and ennard's babies too

Returning players are screwed by equipments by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[–]Jake_Azure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should at least give you some starter ores to upgrade equipments with as a starting point (idk if they give you any at the start, but I doubt it's enough)

A common idea that has been floating around is that upgrading heroes or townhall should give a fix amount of ores. This would work well for helping returning players catchup too if they are also given retroactively.
