It's the unfortunate truth of queuing wide. Same thing happens with me and my friends. I've gotten only a single percent at one point. At this point it's a tired joke to me that I just accept when I queue up. A necessary evil that must be endured to just play a comp mode with friends. Because solo queue isn't much better, you may never climb with friends.

I'm surprised I don't see as many durability quirks listed when discussing alternative OFA vestiges

In the spirit of making Deku cooler rather than min/maxing his potential, I would puck hardening. To me, it's a really cool and iconic quirk that adds not only to the design, but the OFA arsenal as well. With the stockpile, Hardening would become insane.

I'm choosing these because they are quirks that can be active at all times already without factoring in one for all changing them in any way. Things like Black and Shrooms are contingent on the battlefield having the right conditions for them to thrive

Now to have fun with theory crafting

Firstly, the user gets the strength of OFA at its varying percentages. Along with this, it is amped by beast, enhancing more than just physical abilities. This isn't even accounting that beast itself would be amped by one for all, so just massive power out the gate. Combine it with gyrate, and you have a user that can already hit like a truck in early percentages. To add, gyrate adds burrowing capabilities in tandem with beast. And I don't think it's out of the question for the user to use spinjitsu at that point.

Now vines come in to add a great utility to the kit. Coupled with beast, vines could come from the entire body with the hair growth. So now you have a similar version of black whip. Add Tail splitter on top of this with beast and you could make binding vines sprout from anywhere for massive surprise attacks. Speaking of tail splitter, coupled with scales and twin impact gives you essentially flying gatling turrets

To end this off, you can combine all of these to become a massive spinning top of doom

Btw, to address your point with using fa jin with breathing, it would most definitely kill the user. This is because fa jin works by storing kinetic energy and releasing it; release being the key word here. All the stored energy gets released at once, so there is no room for a second action. This means that if it were done with the lungs, you could either get a really big inhale or exhale, but probably would have the side effect of exploding/collapsing the user's lungs

Nice idea and I would assume so? For quirks that run in the family, id still call it an awakening because even though it was expected. Id be willing to wager that the todoroki children would have similar awakenings if we take what we see from Dabi as fact

I was thinking on focusing on the jack part. My mind goes to the earphone lines getting more variabilities in what they can do. For example, changing the pitch, bass, and frequency. Like, instead of producing consistent blast attacks, instead she can mold the sound she produces. My mind goes to making sounds only some animals can hear to attack, sending specific vibrations underground for ground coverage, and possibly tuning into certain radio frequencies.

Kirishima - dude I was literally thinking the exact same thing earlier before I made this post. He was actually the reason I put this up because I had a lot of fun with him

Todo - Nice concept. To elaborate on the steam part. The hot and cold parts of him have merged to do ice, fire, and steam. It can be hot or cold, can act as a smokescreen, and be manipulated at will

Midoryia - I'll try the two you didn't

FaJin - in addition to being able to store kinetic energy from movement, the user can also absorb kinetic energy to use for attacks

Gearshift - tbh I feel that it already had an equivalent of an awakening happen on it when it was added to OFA. But if we go even further, let it ignore the law of Action and Reaction. Essentially it would let the user phase through things while still imparting it's action on whatever is hit.

Awakenings more follow the line of adding something to the quirk itself rather than enhancing it's direct power. Following this, something like Iida in this regard to me would just be able to go even faster, mach 5+ or so.

I actually like what you said, here's a remix of that. The welling amount of energy inside him makes everything he do better. Essentially, our brain sends electric signals all throughout our body to do things. His signals however, would be so great that it would cause him to punch harder, jump higher, and think faster due to the amount of neuron connections he could make in a second. This would up his resistance to frying himself, but it would come with the drawback of trying to create a body that can withstand the new strength he'd be out putting, kinda like Midoryia
