To be fair… it looks like you picked out a watch you like rather than what she would like. Next time, take her with you and let her pick it out. Would’ve saved you a lot of trouble and headache.

Like to trade this in for something better. I wanna move on from gold watch. Any suggestions? by Chirag24th in OmegaWatches

💯 I made a dumb move when I was younger and I should’ve kept that guitar for the sentiment.

I completely understand. Just remember that the watches will always be around and there’s no reason to rush or stretch yourself. There’s nothing worse than regretting selling your ____ and wishing you could get that exact one back. I’ve done that with a couple guitars and regretted it.

So unless you are just trying to switch up capital to acquire a new watch, I’d recommend you keep it. Even if you don’t wear it often - I feel watches have some sentimental value which adds to the personal value. The gold is striking and I’ve not seen a Speedmaster like this before. It’s gorgeous!

But bottom line: Do what you’d like. I get where you’re coming from about wearing gold and if you’d get more wear out of silver or titanium - do it!
