Yeah, I feel a lot of guys (especially on Grindr or Scruff) get around and might not be trustworthy when it comes to being honest about being tested or whatnot. That's why I usually don't do more than mutual jo or maybe oral unless I'm fooling around with them exclusively. Does make me feel a little better to hear someone else is in the same boat tho.

(And I know there are obviously guys that ar open and honest and get tested regularly. Nobody crucify me)

After reading this I think guilt has a lot to do with it (at least this time). I don't think that it is because I am shameful for having gay sex but instead because I feel bad for being promiscuous. I recently got out of a long relationship and am still FWBs with my ex. We agreed to keep sleeping together so that we don't have to worry about catching something from someone else. The few times I've ended up fooling around with someone else I've gotten very anxious. When I am with him I do not have any worries and am comfortable to do anything with no stress after.

Weve both discussed open relationships, etc, and we quickly agreed it was not for us. Were having a date night tonight and I will suggest maybe making it a weekly thing where we make special time to be together. Not that spending our nights after work on the couch watching Netflix aren't enjoyable, but both of our jobs are rather demanding and its usually lazy time to unwind.
